I mean you realize the reason why there are so many negative PDs is because we have PD reversals right? what? untrue, i have just as many in darrell's league

I was actually going to go the other way and suggest we eliminate them all together. Would put all the players on a level playing field. you can't seriously be talking about a level playing field smh you havent done anything about market disparities that make it so big market teams never have to rebuild. when i suggest a way to make rebuilding a more viable path for small market teams you're invoking a level playing field. ffs. Did I say anything about teams in there? I said players. And there are plenty of small market teams competing after rebuilding - KC, Pittsburgh, you.

I mean you realize the reason why there are so many negative PDs is because we have PD reversals right? what? The game tries to level out the talent level in the game. Since we allow PD reversals, it runs rampant with bad PDs.

Ipso facto, the more PD reversals we allow, the more bad PDs there will be and the more PD reversals you'll ask me for.

the game 100% decimated my young core this year. you can't tell me that's about prospects not being guarantees. i had hits to: salazar, maholm, zobrist, melancon, maxwell, tabata, closser, sizemore, velez. pretty much all but two guys 26 and under who i was relying on took a major hit. not sure why we're talking about a level playing field when the game fucks up rebuilds but yeah, this has happened to greeme, darell, steve, and others. i'm sure jeff would relate more to the issue if he didn't have a massive payroll and no youth, but oh well.

If u have a lower revenue just sell your big pieces and 're tool. here you go. why wouldn't rebuilding be a good option? do we want to make it so that people lose interest when they realize they aren't going to contend with what they have? and not everyone has the market to win without relying on young players. that should be a viable plan and the game is making it so it's not.

Market discrepancy is a real life problem. The Rays don't have the money that the Yankees have and yet they compete just fine. I understand the game makes it difficult because of PDs, but we created that problem by allowing PD reversals. You don't throw more wood on the fire and hope it goes out. Allowing more PD reversals would have a worse effect than without them.

i mean i get it them some guys bust irl but not 70% yup. all i'm saying is we're not doing enough about it and it makes rebuilding a shitty option when the league already massively favors teams who can spend to avoid rebuilding. i'm talking about adding an additional PD reversal for 25 and under and being told that's throwing more wood on the fire. wtf.

Do I have 5 years of research? No. It's common knowledge though that PDs happen so that the talent level in the league doesn't get out of whack.

do you have any proof of this or are you just making it up? the latter Greeme has been in the league for a month and he's an OOTP expert.
