Can we edit the rules threads to do with the competitiveness so there is a point of reference. As I'm next exactly sure what we are looking at.
But to be honest there is some point to the fact that if your in a tough division is can be tough to win 53+ or whatever the needed total is. I tried hard last year to win 53 and came up like 2 games short because I couldn't manage wins down the stretch against really good teams.
But ya if there could be an updated point of reference that would be great.

Looks like all that came from it was: -Bring back old tanking rules -Fan Loyalty can't drop after a winning season, making the playoffs, winning the WS 7 hours ago QuoteEditPost by danchevy on 7 hours ago Can we edit the rules threads to do with the competitiveness so there is a point of reference. It is unfortunate that as I step into a rebuild rules are put in place, but that's life. And that's what happens when two teams abuse the lack of rules last year.

Let's not blow this up. I just wanted ashes to update the Competetiveness rules thread with exactly what the current rules are going forward so there can be no doubts or confusion.
Looks like the last update was 2008 and from what I'm hearing those rules were not enforced always?

Essentially you can lose but never too much or too long.
I believe it was never lose nore than 120. Do not lose more than 110 2 years in a row. Do not lose more than 100 3 years in a row.

When we had strict tanking rules they were enforced.

Im guessing at some point there may have been confusion or misunderstanding which might have changed a punishment

Feel like maybe someone argued there way out of penalty at some point. But it was an extreme example
