Breaking News!! Texas Rangers announced today that they’ll be changing the field dimensions during the 2021-2022 off season.
"After a season of examination, the Texas Rangers organization has decided to adjust the dimensions of our ballpark. While we appreciate the intention of what the previous front office was trying to achieve by moving the walls so far out, it has produced some adverse effects on our offense and our defense. Offensively it has suppressed the home run power of our young core. Defensively it can be summed up easily by saying that while outfielders love a spacious area to ply their trade in; that no one wants to shag golf balls in the Grand Canyon. We feel that these new dimensions will aid our team on both sides of the ball. Most importantly, it will provide our fans with a more enjoyable baseball experience going forward. We do what we do both on the field and in the front office for them and we want to give them the best family and sporting experience in America. We believe that this change will be a gigantic step in doing just that."
Funding: 10 million from stadium account.
Dimensions:
Left Field Line: 345
Left Field: 370
Left-Center Field: 385
Center Field: 420
Right-Center Field: 400
Right Field: 395
Right Field Line: 345

You can change fence heights too Yup, I just haven't looked into that as much and wanted to get the absurdly deep walls moved in. Since this isn't happening until the off season, I might add a second release later in the season once I've looked into that a little more.

Regardless of what he wants as his wall dimensions this park should be reset to a more neutral position. Those homer ratings are still killers.

I was trying to build a more pitching friendly home park, although only slightly so. Apparently we can add "ballpark design" to the list of things I'm not very gifted at.

It's fine if that's what you're going for. You just need to build a team to fit your park now. I think you can do it.

Or if I build the park around the team I bring in the walls, lower them and let the power play. I just hate high ERAs.
