Since there was no minimum posting fee, the BayStars will accept the largest bid.
1. Oakland - $17,345,799 2. Boston - $10,000,000
Oakland won the right to negotiate with Tomo. They offered a 7 year contract worth $1,000,000 per year. Since this met Tomo's requirement of securing a 3 year deal he was happy to sign with the Athletics.

seems like there should still be a basement contract though, a set base salary, otherwise 7 years 1 million is going to be popular

I was fine with that on this one because you'll see he's more of a prospect now than a major league pitcher... fine by me, I figured as much, only 22...should be able to send him down no?...if not, I dont think Im winning anything this year anyway
