Aledmys is a stocky shortstop who will probably have to move off of the position eventually, but what he lacks in the field he more than makes up with his stick. Scouts are saying they haven't seen a shortstop with this kind of power since a young Alex Rodriguez came into the league. He could very well be the next Hanley Ramirez, but with much, much worse defense. Some people have noted that when he makes an error in the field that he sometimes brings those bad feelings to the plate. He refuses to see a sports psychologist about what some scouts are diagnosing as the yips. When he struggles in the field he tends to strikeout much more frequently and some think that if he keeps giving pitchers a blueprint to strike him out that he could end up more like Matt Wieters than Hanley Ramirez.

D can't be improved at all? not even in st? what happens if he loses his ss defense? Can he still play ss? Does the stip ever end? What if the game bumps up his d? Does it get reversed?

1. no improvement whatsoever. if he loses it, he loses it. still can't play any other position. he must always play ss. 2. no 3. reversed
