Hey, it's time to take a look and see what NL teams top asset are and what makes them so valuable!
NL EAST
Florida- GM- Ashes
1) Miguel Cabrera, Designated Hitter
Miggy is the GOAT in BBSBL. It is going to be hard to top his stats. Where it stands he has a career line of: 1691 6483 2229 525 18 337 1307 1274 771 949 44 1 .344 .414 .586 1.000. Ashes, and the way his team is setup he is win now....win later.....and win tomorrow. Will see how long Cabrera's rein last. Sad part is Ashes's also has a young stud in Scooter Gennett. With the lucky PD's Ashes is receiving from Steve who knows maybe hill get two or three miggy like players on his team. Only time will tell but, Cabrera is going to die a Marlin......if he even dies........
Philadelphia- GM- Temp
1) Matt Olson, First Base
Matt Olsen is a young 19 year old promising prospect. Good Hits, Brill in walks and Home runs. The young slugger has a promising future. With Philadelphia in a full rebuild Olsen is a guy you can build a team around. Hopefully, in the next couple of drafts Temp can obtain players to compliment Olsen in lineup. Olsen has a promising career ahead of him as long as he develops accordingly.
New York (N)- GM- Dan Chevy
1) Lucas Giolito, Starting Pitcher
19 year old pitching prospect Lucas Giolito is a great pitcher to build a rotation around. With ACES growing older and harder to find. Players like Giolito are great for rebuilding teams like the Mets. Hopefully, Dan can find a good trade partner and move players like Alex Gordon for promising specs(as long as it is not to himself...Kidding ). Giolito sports Brill in Hits/Walks/Strikeouts. It will be interesting to see how the leauges pitching state is in when Giolito is in his prime. Only time will tell.
Atlanta- GM- Heatflash
1) Eloy Jimenez, Rightfield
The 16 year old wonder. Traded away Matt Harvey for the boy wonder. If this kid develops he is going to be a stud. However, with other young dratee's like Sano...who know how he will turn out. Huge gamble to take by moving Harvey, but we shall see if this guy pays off. Well, how long do you think till he is relevant... maybe 8 seasons? Hope he does not die. Good luck Heatflash with your rebuild and again Thank you for Harvey!
Montreal- GM- Kobe
1) Yasiel Puig, Rightfield
Puig I drive to fast! Puig, what a INT FA for a small market team. Good thing he was acquired by San Diego. The fact Kobe landed this stud for scraps after acquiring Tawaza is impressive. The 22 year old is going to be good for a long time. Puig brings to the table Brill Hits, doubles, and walks. With his development sky rocketing this guy is going to be a stud for a long time. Imagine if his homeruns PD...yikes. Crazy, all it took to acquire him was an aging Holiday and Sabin.... Good work Kobe. Good luck with rebuilding aroud this guy.
NL- Central
Chicago (N)- GM- Play
1) Matt Carpenter, Second Base
This was a toss up. Play has many good players especially pitching. One can argue Miley and Sale are more valuable. Because it was so close I am going with my Favorite Player (in real life) Matt Carpenter. The 27 year old is a stud. Brill Hits, doubles, and walks. This year especially killing the central slashing with a .341 .422 .421 .843. Play seems to have a really good and young team. Will see how his play off run goes!
Pittsburgh- GM- Steve
1) Paul Ryan, Starting Pitcher
LOL! Anyway...Paul Ryan is a young pitcher. He is going to be an ACE! The 24 year old sports Brill's across the board minus doubles. Great asset on a very good team. We will see how Steve manages his team. He seems to rebuild then mid season become a competitor. Eitherway he has a lot of win now and long term value in this pitcher. We shall see in the Offseason the direction of the Pirates.
Cincinnati- GM- Stutter
1) Delmon Young
The red's have a lot of good players who are aging. I chose Young because of his age and his value over the other players on the team. Brill in Hits with good complimentary stats. Hopefully Young can lead the Reds to an amazing 3rd place finish! Go Stutter! Sorry for being placed in a ridiculous division.
St. Louis- GM- BoSoxi
1) Matt Adams, First Base
Matt Adams another Redbird in real life. What a player.....anywho back to the sim league. BoSoxi finds himself in the hardest division in BBSBL. However, we shall see how he moves forward with his team. Matt Adams though, is a really good and valuable player. The 25 year old is doing big things in STL and will continue to do so. We shall see how BoSoxi build a team around this guy.
San Francisco- GM- Spencer
1) Matt Wieters, Catcher
Wieters is a great Catcher. With not many good Cathcers and Spencer's expiring team Wieters gets the nod as his best/valuable player. Brill in home runs with good complimentary stats. The 27 year old should net good prospects for the Giants rebuild.....but, now which under .500 team is going to win the division? Spencer's 45 year old squad?
Arizona- GM- Jose Altuve
1)Jose Altuve, Second Base
Well, the GM has the name of his best player and asset. The 23 year old is a stud and is going to be a stud for a long time. Brill in Hits/Doubles/Walks/Strikeouts what is there not to like. With Arizona "retooling" in a soon to be non competitive division...will see what Daryleeeeaeofaslleeeooo can do with his team and what players he puts around Altuve.
San Diego- GM- Greeme
1) Jose Fernandez, Starting Pitcher
If Fernandez can develop this pitcher is going to be an ACE. Brills across the board. His home runs are low but, the 21 year old pitcher is going to do big things in San Diego. Greeme is close to finishing his team that will soon have zero competitors for the top spot. We shall see what happens. Oh and he is a lawyer..so I hope his whole team gets bad PD's. Yee Yee.
Colorado- GM- Shale
1)David Wright, Shortstop
Shale has a homerboner. Shale should trade him for his team rebuild.....but he wont. My only comment Trade the valuable shortstop...before it is toooooooooo late.
Los Angeles- GM- Rooster
1) Chris Taylor, Shortstop
Rooster is rebuilding and a 23 year old Brill hits guy is a perfect starting piece. I hope he gets a million good PD's. Rooster is a really likable GM and I hope his rebuild is successful. Only time will tell and see how Roosters rebuild goes. Good luck.
