Hey, it's time to take a look and see what AL teams top asset are and what makes them so valuable!
AL EAST
New York (A)- GM- Erbes
1) Paul Goldschmidt, First Base
Goldschmidt is a young stud and will be slashing the league for years to come. Brilliant hits, doubles, and home runs. This guy is going to be perennial All-Star on a good New York Yankee's squad. Hopefully, he wont beat up to much on my rays.
Boston- GM- Breakthewalls
1) Giancarlo Stanton, Rightfield
Stanton is a young OF surrounded my old veterans. Break's team is on the verge of death and with his rebuild about to begin....Stanton is a player that he can build his new team around. Young power hitter who will be good for many years. The only downside is the contract he is going to demand. However, with break's rebuild the salary should not be an issue.
Baltimore- GM- Jah
1) Oscar Taveras, Leftfield
Taveras....RIP(idiot). Anyways this player is going to be a stud. Brill Hits, Home runs, Walks, Strikeouts...what is there not to like about this guy. Taveras is a good piece to build a team around. Jah is going to have a hell of a player in Taveras and seems to fit perfectly in his rebuild window.
Tampa Bay- GM- Stooolfan
1) Matt Harvey, Starting Pitcher
Harvey is a stud pitcher with Brill's across the board. He is a perfect for his stats and his loyalty and will not demand massive contracts like other pitchers making him even more valuable than some of his peers. In time the young 24 year old pitcher should be an Ace leading Rays as they attempt to compete.
Toronto- GM- Game
1) Clayton Kershaw, Starting Pitcher
Kershaw is an ace. At only 25 years of age Kershaw will be a monster for years to come. It will be interesting to see if he develops into a dominate pitcher as the Real Clayton Kershaw is...(minus when he plays the Cardinals in the playoffs). Finally game got the ACE he wanted. Sorry for swiping Harvey and MadBum!
AL Central
Milwaukee- GM- Steve
1) Drew Meyer, Second Base
Meyer is getting older. I had this as a toss up with Pitcher Kyle Kendrick. However, the .925 OPS this season and with the Brill Hits and Home runs. Meyer gets it over the younger ACE Kendrick. Maybe Steve will get drunk and actually trade? But who knows seems Shale is the only one to get him to trade!
Cleveland- GM- Drowe
1) Andrew McCutchen, Centerfield
With Drowe's team so close to death it was hard to choose an Asset. He has some very good older players. However, a player like Fukodome is on the verge of irrelevant. So the average McCutchen takes the spot. Will see how Drowe's rebuild goes in the coming years.
Detroit- GM- If your not first your last
1) Francisco Rodriguez
K-rod is a great pitcher and with Wood's age I had to go with K-rod. J.J Hardy is also a close 2nd with his great power hitting at lack of positional depth at SS. However, K-rod is a very good pitcher and hopefully the Tigers move to continue to compete and not rebuild works out for him. Luckily, he is in a very weak division with expiring/rebuilding teams.
Minnesota- GM- Styro
1) Jon Singleton, First Base
Minnesota has so many good players about to be MLB ready. It was really hard to determine who his best asset was. Really a toss up..however, I am going with Singleton for being young with Brill Homers and Hits. He is going to be a great MLB player when he is ready and fully developed.
Chicago (A)- GM- Crazy"Once in a blue Moon" Mike
1) David Price, Starting Pitcher
David Price is a good pitcher and could be used to rebuild his team if he chooses. However, will see what Mike does with his team in the future. Who know pretty much anyone guess the direction he takes his team.
AL West
Seattle- GM- Chris
1) Joey Votto, First Base
Votto is 29 years old but he is a stud. Great player 10's in hits with the 9's in double's. Would be awesome to have a player at this caliber on my team. He took president over Harper due to all the PD's he has had. Close but, will see how the Mariners due moving forward with his team and how his playoff run will go.
Oakland- GM- Broph
1) Mike Trout, Centerfield
Do we see a Clone of Miggy??? Will he be better??? Who knows!! Trout has the makings to be the best in BBSBL when Miggy fades and dies. Would be awesome to have such a stud on my team. If I remember correctly offering my 1st born was low balling to Broph . Anywho is going to be fun watching him slash in the coming season's.
Texas- GM- Maxwell
1) Byron Buxton, Centerfield
Young prospect who should do really well for Texas. Brill hits and super fast ability to swipe bases. Good future for him. Will be interested to see how he develops. Hopefully, Texas uses him well or gets good value out of him in a trade.
Anaheim- GM- Aaron
1) Ruben Gotay, Shortstop
MVP Gotay is a stud. With lack of studs at SS makes him even more valuable. Will be interesting to see how Aaron runs the team and see what he gets for him during his rebuild. Hopefully he will get some stud specs. But, who knows how people trade here. Again, I dont know value so i do not want to speculate.
Well, this is my first non-interview article. I hope you enjoyed!
