Oh damn you got your sneaky edit in before i quoted you. Fair enough LOL...after thinking about it more, I realized how could you all live in the same town and be a fan of different teams. My mind wasn't processing that right, but I corrected it.

Threatening to quit if a trade isn't vetoed is also pretty immature and underhanded. Forcing a commissioners hand like that is not good play.

I'm gonna be honest...Toronto's trade with me regarding Helton was worse than this trade for whatever it's worth...

Yankee, Erbes is a Yankee, get the drift? plus he tacks on two very very good players to go along with it, and gets back really two decent assets

Everett is Good Good Good Good Good, as good as he can possibly get talent wise without PD's, (outside triples I guess), and Marlon is one TIA from being good in hits, good in walks, and Brilliant in strikeouts, with average homers and doubles, an outstanding combo..the guys he gets in the second? likely going to have a significant flaw in effect that will make him a average in a key category, so thats still luck...far better off putting that cash toward making good elite, rather than average good He's actually 2 TIA's away. One for hits and one for walks. From my understanding you can't use a TIA to make anyone into a Brilliant rating. So that's 10 million spent (but I'm pretty sure you can only use one TIA on a player) and then you're hoping the actual ratings catch up with the talent ratings, otherwise they'll take a bad PD hit and drop back down (thus wasting your 5 or 10 mil spent on that TIA). If you can use multiple TIA's on one player, I'm going to start writing articles like mad to make money and bump everyone up in all their categories. You can only do 3 articles per season though

I could have definitely gotten better pitching in exchange for Helton, but that didn't work out and I gotta live with it. Oh well.

By the way, consulted the veto committee on this. I hate vetoing trades and yeah it's a bad trade, but it's better than the first one. John has been in leagues before and knows OOTP, so as long as it's not collusion (and I'm 99% sure it isn't) then I'm fine with his plan. If he disappears then yeah Toronto is getting fired.

Oh well. it was terrible, but at least it fit your direction some...thats the thing, he loses every facet of this deal, talent, youth, all of it, it makes 0 sense for the team, no matter how you look at it...the only justification he has given is pretty much, Hope I get lucky, and Im amazing and will win everything ,you are jealous

I dont see any way this deal can go through, how can a guy deal off the top three things of value in a deal, and only really get two valuable assets in return...he goes really from 1, 2, 3, to 4 5 and meh

Thought he was avg in hits and good in K's. That's the way I read your statement at least. At that, his 3 rating is going to be hard pressed to increase itself. I put money towards Schmidt's going to a 5 in BB this year and he's still at a 5 after almost a full season.

just no reason for this deal to be put through, at all, this isnt a learn from your mistakes type situation with a long term GM, this isnt a shopped around for days and this was the best offered. no, this was a hire, let me get raped horribly beyond belief...then, thats vetoed, lemme get raped just a bit less willingly, and it should be clear
