he led RBI's because of the guys in front of him, including Soriano. Soriano had 46 doubles, 14 triples, 21 homers, still over 100 RBI, and 65 steals, batted .324/.358/.543

I give 0 shit about RBIs, you cant get RBI's without the guys in front of you getting on base or hitting a homer

Id say Sorianos massive lead in AVG, OBP, OPS, Steals, and runs makes up for Lee's Homers.

Soriano is a lot closer to taking it than Lee is though

exactly, name....but name doesnt matter at all, Soriano was better. ARod had great stats, but played only 3/4ths of the season, Votto led that team in Runs Created, and led the entire AL in RC/27

I feel like different people place more emphasis on certain categories than others. And RC and RC/27 I guess is more significant than I thought.

Despite what look to be amazing numbers, Rodriguez really wasnt all that special in RC/27 at all good yes, very good yeah, but MVP worthy? ehhh, nah, hit into a ton of Double plays. Hit damn near .400 on the road too

nah, its not all that significant, but you have to actually look at the underneath stats (certainly appears RC/27 reallllly loves players that dont hit into Double Plays.)

looking at league leaders isnt always enough...I use RC/27, RC, OPS, to get an idea of the best players...doesnt mean you automatically adhere to them

making fewer outs being a key part of Runs per 27, it will overvalue On Base as well

overall Runs Created is a big factor to look at. RC/27 is probably a bit more of a side stat to look at. If you take D into account things all change. This shouldnt bug me as much as I made a big deal outta it, sorry

funny that on pure stats Arod looks the best (projected out over the rest of the games), but everything past the surface says otherwise.

I dont like voting Encarnacion, but I cant vote for any of my guys, if you removed one I think my team does fine, Encarnacion is a massive part of the mediocre Toronto Offense
