Hey y'all. So got a few announcements to make regarding the state of the league. If you haven't noticed I haven't really been around the boards much. I've been swamped with work. I crushed goals last year and as a reward all of my goals this year got jacked way up meaning my work hours have gone way up. Instead of sitting by and watching the league suffer (which it really isn't... past 3 or 4 sims there have been like 30+ pages which is awesome) I'm going to do some re-shuffling around here. Here are the changes:
1. The Draft - Always seems to be a hold up around here and it's my fault. Spencer and Play will be tag teaming them from here on out. Spence will do the heavy lifting it seems, with Play chipping in where he can for now. I'll be the one to give the whole thing final approval, but I just don't have the hours to dedicate to it anymore. For this first year I would expect a bit of delay in between per the usual. The change will help more in the coming seasons.
2. Hiring/ Firing - This will also fall on Play and Spence with an assist from Steve. I'm clearly not up to speed with who is being terrible. You guys know how Play operates. Be warned. I will have final say, but 99% of the time I'm going to listen to them.
3. Sims - These will continue to be Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Steve has the power to sim on off days if he can. PLEASE DO NOT PRESSURE HIM INTO DOING SO. If I see people begging and moaning for them, I will put an end to them forever. Also, bear in mind that the file tends to get screwy when changing hands often. If you get one Steve sim at all, count yourselves lucky.
If it happens that work clears up I'll step back in and take over full reins again, but for now this is what's happening. I'll definitely be back to full time duty by the end of August.
