I don't know how I didn't come up with this idea in the past, but it's about time it happened!
Through most of BBSBL history, a lot of GM's have complained about other GM's not being active enough or not doing much to improve the league itself. Well, how about we see exactly what all 30 current GM's have really done on the forum thus far? And because CrazyMike is now the assistant White Sox GM in Waldo's absence, I was able to include him as well.
Everyone will be graded within a 100 point scale. To determine these points, there are 10 categories that I focused on in order to determine grades. I will now list each category and provide a brief explanation for each of them.
1. Posting Amount
This category is based on the following chart of the number of total forum posts each GM has made:
0-500 Posts = 0
500-1,000 Posts = 1
1,000-2,000 Posts = 2
2,000-3,000 Posts = 3
3,000-4,000 Posts = 4
4,000-5,000 Posts = 5
5,000-6,000 Posts = 6
6,000-8,000 Posts = 7
8,000-10,000 Posts = 8
10,000-13,000 Posts = 9
13,000+ Posts = 10
It's really self-explanatory beyond that.
2. Posting Consistency
Posting a lot or a little is one thing, but this category is about how OFTEN each GM's posts on the forum generally speaking. Are they here every day? Or do they just check in and post some stuff every few days or once a week? You all should generally know where you fit here.
3. General Attitude
Everyone in the next 3 categories starts with a 10 and may get deductions accordingly.
Generally speaking, if you have a positive attitude with just about everything here, you'll get a 10. If you complain and whine about various things, you'll get penalized.
4. Trolling
This is pretty much self-explanatory. If you've gone out of way to troll another GM or group of GM's in particular, it will show.
5. Emotional Reactions
Don't worry trolls! This works both ways. GM's that have maintained good behavior and have not gotten emotional will get easy 10's. Those though that have gotten upset and have made various emotional rants will not do as well here.
6. Giving Advice
If you've given a lot of helpful advice, generally speaking, you will be rewarded accordingly.
7. Forum Jobs
Few GM's will get anything from this category. Being a commissioner, draft mod, banker, or awards mod are really the only ways to get points here.
8. Event Participation
This reflects how often each GM has participated in various forum events for board cash. Trade frenzies are not included because they are more baseball/GM'ing related and not necessarily forum related per se. Post pads, NFL pick-ems and GM awards, among other things are the criteria for this category.
9. Off-Topic Contributions
Do you only post in sim and draft threads and all the other basic threads? Or do you make efforts to be social with other GM's in all kinds of threads that have to do with various different topics? All of that will be reflected here.
10. Article Contributions
Last but not least, our wonderful articles! Generally speaking, each GM will get 1 point for each article they wrote/participated in. Those that have written their own solo articles and/or written the questions for roundtables and interviews will be rewarded even more.
A few other things to consider:
- This strictly has to do with forum activity and not GM'ing skills or team success or anything like that.
- Checking/Responding to PM's were not included because it would be impossible for all 31 of us to know all this about everyone else.
- Humor was not included as well because everyone has a different sense of humor and is entitled to their own opinions on this.
That's enough lecturing. Let's get to some rankings!

Starting it off is Dave, who has been called out numerous times for not being particularly active, despite making regular exports, and doing some trades. Dave just is not one of those people that enjoys posting a ton, but will do so whenever he really has something to say.
Before anyone automatically assumes his last place rank is all due to a possible lack of activity, please read on.
Dave's general attitude is not the greatest. He seems to be cranky more often than not. And then, whenever Play has trolled him, he has exploded sometimes, which is why his Emotional Reaction grade is only a 2. Dave has really gone at it with Play and Erbes in particular. And of course, there was the unforgettable phone call chat (or lack of rather) with him and Erbes. That will forever be remembered as one of the most fond stories in BBSBL history. More recently, Dave has snapped at Break, who has really been calling him out for a lack of activity.
Dave has never been one to give much advice and has never had a forum job. The only events he has really participated in are a few season prediction threads and one GM awards event. Dave never really chimes in on non-BBSBL related topics and the only article he has been a part of was the one interview I gave him.
There is obvious room for improvement with Dave if he wants to advance in this ranking in the future, but if he could care less and is happy with the way things are here, then good for him!

Most of the next few GM's are the new ones.
It is probably unfair to judge Bohsandos this early in his time in this league. The guy has only been here for a week or so, but no one is getting left behind up in here!
Bohs has already shown a bit of attitude generally speaking, especially right before becoming an official GM, and has since showed a rather quick temper toward some of the more veteran GM's. This shows he has balls, but it also means his behavior-related grades can't be perfect.
Bohs has yet to really participate in any events, mainly because he has not seen too many since he has joined. Hopefully, he can learn to take advantage of the many events for board cash that are offered. They are fun and easy and there is nothing to lose in participation.

DJMyte has not been around too long, generally speaking, but among all the GM's here, he has clearly made the least effort to post regularly and be an active presence in this league. He will make a rare sim post and will make a few draft picks during drafts, but that's it. Beyond that, he's done nothing else on this forum. It would be nice to actually see some effort from him for once, beyond just regular exports.

I used to wonder why Greg didn't enjoy chatting much in general. But in my interview with him, he mentioned that he simply does not enjoy typing, which has shed some light on that mystery. Greg checks in, makes a few posts with each sim, but doesn't do too much else. He submitted votes for GM awards once and participated in the one interview I gave him.

Another new GM here is Tempfooliz, who seems to have a busy work schedule and cannot devote a particularly large amount of time to this league. He has not posted much, but seems to be at least a reasonably consistent presence with posting. Temp has submitted GM awards votes in the past and has done some NFL pick-ems too. He has chimed in a bit on off-topic discussions and has participated in 2 roundtables already. Temp has some potential and hopefully he will be able to make the most of it.

CrazyMike's forum presence is definitely one of the most unique among the entire league. Mike does not always post all the time and may go days without saying anything. But when he's around, he's usually posting a bunch of Babe of the Day pics for the rest of us to enjoy.
This is why his off-topic contribution score is as high as it is. If he was more consistent with it and didn't binge on it during certain days and also chimed in on other discussions, he would've gotten a 10 there.
Beyond the occasional sim thread posts and Babe of the Day, Mike has not been a consistent presence on the forum. Hopefully, he will be able to open up a bit more and chat with some of us a little more regularly in the future!

Yet another one of the newer GM's, Greeme has been a very good addition here. He seems to be one of the more active new guys for sure and has been a bit helpful to other new guys to help them learn the ropes a bit better. He's sent in GM awards, participated in NFL pick-ems, has contributed multiple discussions on different topics and has already been a part of two roundtables. Not a bad start there, Greeme! And now we come to the quiet vets.
Dan has been here since the 1997 season, and has consistently maintained a low profile, for better or worse. His busy big shot work schedule is certainly one reason he isn't around here all the time, but he will chime in some posts at the most unexpected times to let us know he's still here.
No comments of any kind could have an effect on Dan, who seems to be in good spirits all the time. Either that or he hides his emotions very well. Dan has chimed in a bit of advice here and there, has been involved in GM awards, season predictions and maybe even an NFL pick-em or two. He has contributed in a few of the off-topic discussions and participated in the one interview I gave him so that he could reverse Griffey's PD hit to home runs at the time. You're welcome, Dan! I try to be a good friend like that.
I think we'd all like to see Dan contribute a bit more, but we'll definitely take what we can get from him right now.

Oh what a surprise to see James tied with his boy and current roomie, Dan! James has been pretty much as active as Dan, generally speaking. The only reason he has over 1,000 more posts than Dan is because he participated in one of the post pads...and beasted the shit out of it quicker than the speed of light!
James gets his posts in, and he always keeps things light when doing so. No one is easygoing with his emotions here as James. He has provided much needed relief to heated forum arguments in the past, which were great! In fact, that's where the bits of good advice he's made have kicked in.
James has done some GM awards and season predictions. He has said a few things in off-topic discussions, but not much. As for articles, he did an awesome job with the 1 interview I gave him over the summer.
Like Dan, a more steady dose of James here would always be great!

Game has been an interesting case throughout his time here. It took him literally forever to get a winning team of his own together. Not surprisingly, it took him a long time to be a more consistent presence on the forum as well. Game has made a reasonable number of posts, generally speaking. He hasn't always been too consistent with it, but he tries when he can. He definitely doesn't seem to be lazy to the same degree as he once was.
Game has chimed in with advice once in a blue moon, has participated in some season predictions and GM awards votes, and has made a few off-topic posts as well. I tried to give Game an interview before, but he rejected it because he was too busy at the time. I hope to see him reconsider my offer in the future.

Up next is another three-way tie, but for 19th place. Kobe has been by far the most active among the latest group of new GM's. He has posted a lot and very consistently since joining. He hasn't been perfect with his emotions and trolling the entire time. He has made a few trolling remarks to other GM's and has made a couple of small emotional slip-ups as well.
So far, Kobe has been involved with GM awards voting, season predictions and NFL pick-ems. He has contributed a decent amount to the off-topic threads and has been involved in an interview and a roundtable thus far. Kobe's already showed some potential for the kind of presence he could have on this forum, and I bet he'll keep it up in the future.

Ahh the Irish Bungler himself. Some people could compare Break and DRowe to Jay and Silent Bob, respectively. It wouldn't be a bad comparison either. But DRowe does chat a lot if you get to know him.
Anyway, DRowe has made his fair share of posts and has participated in multiple post pads. He has not always been particularly consistent, but that is largely due to working full time and going to school at the same time. It also seems like he is not able to be on the forum during work, unlike some people who have more convenient jobs. He's probably slacking a bit too, but DRowe does have legit participation potential that he just needs to tap into and put to use.
For the most part, DRowe's attitude has been good, but he has snapped a few times at Play and a few others that have called him out for a lack of activity.
DRowe has been involved in a good number of the NFL pick-ems, usually sends in GM awards votes, and usually does season predictions as well. He chimes in on various off-topic threads, but just does not do so every day. Boston sports threads are his most active threads by far. The one article DRowe was involved in was the one interview I gave him. Starting to notice a familiar trend yet?

Did a more active Waldo make this forum more fun to be around? Definitely. He is the big piece that we are really missing right now. In fact, he now has an assistant GM in CrazyMike because he's been busy for quite some time.
When he was more active, Waldo made a decent number of posts. Early on, some funny YouTube clips were a mainstay here. He also participated in a few post-pads. Waldo is no longer consistent at posting, which has shown.
Attitude-wise, Waldo is always positive...unless you say an unkind remark about Grandma of course. He has completely stayed clear of all flame wars here, which was smart to do.
Waldo has given good advice on things at times and has offered good suggestions for the league. He has been a regular contributor with season predictions and GM awards votes, but has not really taken advantage of the NFL pick-ems yet.
Despite his creative mind, Waldo has not been in many of the off-topic threads. He has participated in three articles, thus giving him three points there.
Come back Waldo, for real!

Next is Bosoxi, who has not always been particularly vocal, but always has had a steady presence here. He participated in one particular post pad, but has not always posted too much beyond that. Bosoxi's consistency used to be very poor, but he has improved upon that in recent time.
Bosoxi's attitude has been among the very best, as he tries to make light of quite a few things, but of course in a friendly way. Bosoxi has participated in some GM awards, season predictions and NFL pick-ems. Speaking of the NFL, most of Bosoxi's posts have been related to the success of his teams in the Red Sox and Patriots. Bosoxi participated in the one interview I sent him.

What would this league be like without Jah? I'd be willing to bet Dave would be locked up in a jail cell on an assault charge after flying to Arizona to kick the shit out of Play if not for Jah's efforts as peacemaker between them. To be honest, if Dave decided to go and fight Erbes, I bet Jah would be more likely to let him loose, in comparison to his good friend Play.
Anyway, Jah is not always on the forum for hours each day. He checks in every day and when he says something important, it's good to listen in and pay attention to it because over time, Jah has given us a few gems of wisdom.
Jah in the past was called out for not doing enough with his team to be more successful. So what did he do? He made the Orioles into a better team. Along the way, his forum activity increased as well.
For the most part, Jah's attitude has been very good and he hasn't really trolled anyone, despite the fact that at times, Break literally annoys the shit out of him.
Jah gets those 5 advice points for being the peacemaker between Dave and Play, and for helping Dave keep his emotions in check, generally speaking. Furthermore, as already stated, he offers great advice here and there on various issues and has certainly been helpful in that regard.
Jah has participated in most of the NFL pick-ems, season predictions, and some of the GM award votes. He has made some off-topic contributions, most notably in the college football section, which is a sport he seems to be an avid fan of.
Jah participated in the interview I sent him and also contributed a unique article himself about the best players for each age at the time. Very creative, Jah!
Jah is a very good example of how GM's here can be efficient and productive with what they do on the forum if they either cannot devote a lot of time to forum activity or choose to not do so. All the lazy GM's should take note of this.

This is where we really start to see the more consistently active presences here.
Styro was one of the most active GM's here for a long time until the combination of school and work became too much for him to handle at one point. He of course came back soon enough, but just has not been as active for the past few months.
Styro has been one of the most noticeable posters by far, even though it has slowed down considerably. He was always involved in post pads and just posted a ton for quite some time.
While all that has been good, Styro's behavior has not! He's had one of the worst attitudes here for a long time. Not surprisingly, he's been the worst troll in the league as well. If he isn't trolling Break or myself, he's calling out Erbes for making a decision of some sort that he did not agree with. If he isn't arguing with Broph for example on why this player is better than that player, he's complaining about something else to someone else. It's a broken record pretty much. The fact that he has been less active has actually helped him in these categories from getting the lowest possible ratings.
Styro's baseball-related advice to other GM's has been very good for the most part. The unkind trolling advice towards particular individuals though not so much. Styro has been a regular contributor with GM awards votes and season predictions and has done most of the NFL pick-ems as well.
Styro has also chimed in regularly on many off-topic threads and has participated in two articles thus far.

How did Dale get so high on this list? A recent significant increase in forum activity certainly helped his cause!
Dale originally didn't post particularly much, but has really turned it up lately in all kinds of ways. His behavior has been great. No complaints at all. He has been active in many of the events he has seen thus far and has also contributed quite a bit to the off-topic threads. Many of them have included his old school stories of what the 60s and 70s were like. Some of them have been great. I hope to see more and more of them in the future! Dale has been in one roundtable so far.

Where do we start with Nanz? It has really been a tale of 3 different Nanz's. The 1st Nanz was very active at the very beginning of this league, was the original banker and did a lot to help BBSBL really get established. The 2nd Nanz sorta disappeared for a while due to school and he was rebuilding the Mariners at the same time. The 3rd and current Nanz is back to being active, but is more of a funny man now for the most part. Think of him like Rocco from Boondock Saints.
All the while, Nanz's post total isn't bad at all. He has managed to chime in here and there to try to be funny and talk about why the Yankee-infested Mariners team of his is so awesome.
Like his hometown friends, Nanz is one of the more upbeat guys here. He avoids the controversy and the only real knock on him was his laziness streak.
Nanz's original job as bank mod and the efforts he made at the very start of BBSBL helped him get the points he got in the advice and forum job sections. Nanz has been a more regular contributor with the GM awards votes and season predictions. It's too bad he has overlooked the NFL pick-ems.
Nanz has participated in off-topic discussions once in a while, and has been involved in four articles thus far. The reason he got 6 points though was because he was the one asking the questions in two of them.
All in all, Stamos should be proud of Nanz for bouncing back the way he has, both with his Mariners and his forum presence. Keep it up Fernando!

Steve1213 is not a big complainer by any means, but has certainly done his fair share of trolling at the expense of Stutter and myself in particular. He has toned it down more recently, but for a while, he was quite the mini-troll.
Steve1213 has also given some good advice to others here and there and has participated in most of the events, aside from a few early post pads. He's been consistent with season predictions, GM awards and NFL pick-ems. His off-topic contributions have been among the best of the league, especially when discussing Breaking Bad. Steve1213 has been in about 5 articles thus far, which isn't too bad.

First off, I wouldn't be in this league if not for Break noticing Erbes' BBSBL post on the Long Baller forum. Props to Break for that!
For a long time, Break was one of the most active GM's around. He posted a ton, was always contributing in various discussions and was very outspoken more often than not.
But recently, Break has not been as active. He has not posted as much and just has not been around as much as before. Why is that? It seems as if for the first time in his life, Break has actually gotten to know a girl that likes him. Who would've predicted that would ever happen?
With all that being said, a 7 for posting consistency seems appropriate to even it all out.
Break's general attitude has been inconsistent. He gets excited for things he likes, but when he doesn't like something, he will whine and complain about it for quite some time. He doesn't get like that as often now, which is a step in the right direction.
Break was never a troll until he decided to start calling out Jah and Dave for not being active enough. This led to some beef between him and them.
When on the receiving end of trolling, Break for a long time handled it very poorly and got very emotional about it. Eventually, he finally figured out how to deal with it all in a better way and his behavior has improved since then.
Break has tried to give advice to others regularly. It hasn't always been the best of advice though, hence the 6 points. Break also used to have two different forum jobs in the past. He was the banker for a while until he was replaced by Play. He also did the awards with me for a while until he got too busy and let me do them all myself.
Break has participated in all the post pads, season predictions and GM awards. He's been more inconsistent with the NFL pick-ems because he is not the most avid NFL fan. He has contributed to off-topic threads sometimes and has been one of the more active article writers. The fact that he has written and participated in over 10 articles gives him an easy 10 there.
Break is now extremely excited for the 2005 draft to happen. Get used to hearing about all the picks he has because that's all that's on his mind now.

Broph has pretty much always been around. His activity never really stood out generally speaking, but he's been consistent nonetheless. His attitude is usually good, unless he happens to see a bad PD or 2 to the A's or if something he really is against does not go his way. That has led some of Broph's more outspoken posts in the past.
Broph has never really been involved in the trolling-related drama and has been pretty good with advice for the most part. The one job Broph had though was briefly as the article mod. That, no offense was a complete failure because a lot of GM's complained about the way he went about it and Broph eventually got fed up and quit the position. Thankfully he did, because now the voting system is back and it's awesome!
Broph has been a decent participant in events and has been in some, but not all of them. Most of Broph's off-topic posts have to do with college football. Being that he's an Oregon native, that's completely understandable. He chimes in on other topics too though. Broph has been featured in two articles, with one interview and one roundtable.

Ok so how in the world did a lazy stoner like Stutter end up in the top 10? It was actually pretty easy. All he had to do was post a lot and not show any emotions, which can largely be credited to all the weed.
Stutter has been one of the most consistent posters for a long time and enjoys chiming in on all kinds of topics. Here and there, he'll try to crack jokes at my expense, but I'll give him a pass there being that we laugh about them all the time whenever they happen.
Stutter has tried to give some advice to others once in a while, which has not always worked out. Then again, he wasn't always learning from the best person out there in myself, so I have to take some of the blame for that.
For the most part, Stutter has been great with event participation, with the exception of maybe slacking on a post pad or two. To be honest, some of the credit there should go to me for nagging him a bit to participate more and more. Stutter has also been great with off-topic posting and is a consistent presence on those threads. Stutter has been in 3 articles so far, with one being an interview I gave and 2 others being roundtables.
For all the shit that Stutter has to take for being lazy and making dumb trades, there are some things here that he is actually doing right and this ranking is proof of that.

As active as Play has been since the start, there are reasons for why he isn't higher on this list. Some of them should be rather obvious.
Play has always been one of the most notable forum posters. He's not at the same level as Spencer and myself in numbers, but is definitely up there in consistency.
Play's attitude overall is a mixed bag. He will get excited for certain things, but can get very upset at certain things that are not to his liking.
Play's been arguably the second worst troll in BBSBL history. Frequent targets of his have included Break, Dave, Matt (when he was around) and myself, among others. He even came up with the moniker "grumpy old men" to characterize all the older GABL GM's that are here. At times, he has been relentless with the trolling, but has shown a softer side at times and has definitely toned down the trolling recently, which is why his grade there is better than it would've been months ago.
On the other hand, whenever someone trolls Play and says things to him, the boy band-loving and UGG boot-wearing big guy tends to throw up his sensitivity shield and will immediately look for ways to call out and get personal with whoever is going after him. It's like come on now. Like Eminem said, "Don't dish it if you can't take it." Hopefully Play can soon learn the concept of a 2-way street so that he can avoid embarrassing himself further in his emotional rants.
When it comes to giving great OOTP and BBSBL advice, few are better at it than Play. Play really knows what he's doing and talking about and it has shown.
Play gets 8 points for being both the draft mod and banker. He isn't the most consistent with actually updating the banks, but hopefully, everyone else is good enough at math to keep up with their finances.
Play would've had a 10 in event participation, but at times, he has forgotten to submit NFL pick-em picks, for one. His off-topic contributions have been off the charts, but the same cannot be said for his article contributions. For all of the posting and contributions he has made, Play has completely ignored being in any articles, aside from one roundtable. This lack of article participation hurt Play's ranking significantly. Despite the fact that he has hated some of the article grading systems, it's about time for Play to be a more regular article contributor.

For being what Play considers a "grumpy old man", Peter has done a very good job with staying active and has been one of the most positive contributors here since the beginning.
Pete hasn't posted as much lately, but he's still one of the more consistent at posting generally speaking. Pete's attitude usually looks good, but sometimes, I get the feeling that Pete isn't always particularly happy about how everything is going. Nonetheless, there are things here that Pete does not like that he has learned to deal with.
Pete is not a troll by any means, but at times, he will make his occasional punch lines toward a different GM in his witty way. Pete has definitely been very level-headed with his emotions all the time. He has also been good at giving good advice to other GM's.
Pete has always been one of the most consistent participants in all the events that take place here. He's good at chiming in on off-topic threads, but does not do so all the time. Regarding articles, Pete has been one of the most consistent writers and always welcomes the opportunity to be in a roundtable.

Habes' forum activity got off to a slow start initially, but as time went on, he became more and more active generally speaking, and particularly over the summer.
Habes is now quite consistent with posting, but has always had a good attitude generally speaking. The only "trolling" Habes has ever really done has been criticizing Spencer's ridiculous payroll and for pointing out certain inaccuracies on other articles, but that's ok for the most part.
Habes has been good with giving advice and has participated in most events, including season predictions, GM Awards, NFL pick-ems and post pads. He's missed some events, but usually participates in most of them. Habes' off-topic contributions have been good, but not necessarily outstanding per se. He has been one of the more active article writers around and has even written the questions for a few of those articles as well, which gives him more article points.

Despite spending two months of his life to serve in our armed forces, Ashes has been one of the most consistent forum contributors since the beginning. And this is coming from a guy that has never been big on real MLB his entire life.
Ashes was one of the top forum posters for a long time, but of course, his military stint made him fall lower in the posting ranks. Since then, Ashes is back to his usual self, generally speaking.
Ashes' attitude has been awesome for the most part. He steps on a few toes with the trolling, but has never done any major trolling. Emotions and helping others has always been two of Ashes' biggest strengths and has definitely been one of the most helpful presences here since day 1.
Ashes gets 3 points for being a former bank mod. He has participated in a good chunk of the events, but certainly not all of them. His two-month military stint is part of the reason why and did not help his cause there. But that was an obvious sacrifice Ashes was willing to make.
Ashes' off-topic contributions have not always been consistent, but he was always one of the main article contributors and did a phenomenal job with all the articles and interviews he put together. It's good to have Ashes back!

Some may find Darell being 5th to be a big surprise, but it is not surprising to me at all. Since Darell has been a part of this wonderful league, he has done pretty much everything asked of him.
The numbers aren't there yet with posts, but the consistency is certainly present. Darell has always been a level-headed guy and has always kept his emotions in check. So far, he has been very consistent with participating in events and articles. He has even been the one asking the questions in some articles, which helped him get more article points. As for off-topic stuff, Darell has been active with that too, but can be picky sometimes with the topics he participates in.

I hope everyone can understand how I graded myself here. I tried to keep everything as honest as possible.
Obviously, I've been one of the two top forum posters for a very long time. In fact, all the 10's I gave myself are very reasonable and there really shouldn't be much to argue against any of them.
I've obviously written a ton of articles, not just for the board cash, but because I genuinely enjoy doing so as a hobby. I should put the same kind of effort with BBSBL articles to Bleacher Report and other real writing ventures. I'd probably make some actual progress in my career if I did so, but that's another story.
I haven't really missed any forum events of any kind and contribute a ton to all kinds of off-topic threads. I could post in a few more specific topics though, so even I have room for improvement with that.
I gave myself an 8 for attitude because I usually try to be a positive person here. It isn't perfect, mostly because in the past, I held some vendettas with certain individuals here, but I'm past that now.
The "1" for emotional reactions is completely justified. To make a long story short, I've had my bad emotional moments and then I've had a few really bad emotional moments as well. And I apologize that you all had to see it. It was very embarrassing and I've worked hard to improve my behavior since then.
I gave myself a 6 for advice mostly because I use every opportunity I can to give advice to those in need. The reason it's a 6 though instead of like an 8 is because my advice has not been perfect. I've made some mistakes with it and I took that into account.
My job as awards mod, plus my eventual job as Hall of Fame mod once we get to 2006 is enough for 5 forum job points for now.
Again, I feel I honestly deserve the score I gave myself.

As our commish, there are obvious reasons why Erbes has to be on the top. The fact that Erbes isn't #1 though is his own fault.
Erbes' post amount, consistency, attitude, reactions, advice and article contributions are all very good. The attitude would have been better if he was a little more enthusiastic about simming more than he has been. Some of the sim teases have not been well received.
The 10's in forum jobs and event participation should be self-explanatory. To be more specific, in forum jobs, Erbes gets 5 points being a great commish and doing everything in a consistently timely manner. The other 5 points are for dealing with all the whining, complaining and bullshit that comes with being a commissioner. Bravo!
Now to the other categories. One category that hurt Erbes was that he's been a troll at times. He knows not to completely go too far like Styro has done a few too many times, but Erbes' hatred of the "friend trades" between Break, DRowe and myself make us all consistent targets for him to pick on and try to annoy. He's gotten better with it, generally speaking, but things have never really been particularly smooth.
One other area that Erbes has sort of lacked is off-topic discussions. He has been more inconsistent there. Of course, being a commissioner requires a lot of duties within OOTP itself and not just the forum, which is understandable. Nonetheless, with a little more kindness to everyone, no matter how much he likes or hates them would've helped Erbes' cause that much more.

Spencer's report card here looks phenomenal in the vast majority of all categories. He has been one of the very top forum posters (both in amount and consistency), event participants, off-topic contributors and article writers throughout the history of this league. He has made a lot of efforts in almost every aspect possible.
Spencer also has given probably the best GM'ing advice generally speaking of anyone. Sure, he may talk to himself a bit too much, but someone that has already won 3 championships knows exactly what he is talking about. I almost deducted a point from his emotional reaction grade due to the outburst he had toward Bohsandos, but meh that would've been a bit harsh as the only offense against him.
But among all these 10's, there is one glaring zero there. That is because Spencer has never had a forum job of any kind. It's really surprising to be honest, but then again, Spencer works a lot, has Jack to raise and a family to provide for. He's got his priorities right and maybe one day he'll have a job here.
Nonetheless, that is the difference between 1st and 2nd place here for Spencer. Can't win them all.

How in the world did Steve get 1st place in this? He doesn't have the most posts. He hasn't written the most articles. He isn't the commissioner. How did he do it? By having the most well-rounded resume of all of us.
Steve has yet to reach 10,000 posts, but he will get there soon enough. Let's just be happy he isn't making these weird characters on this forum while he's at work like he does on another particular forum.
Steve's attitude is as good as just about anyone's. He's positive just about all the time...well that is unless something bad happens to Jeff Cirillo. He's given spectacular advice in just about all possible aspects within this league and has always been very consistent with event participation and off-topic contributions.
Steve could also write and participate in more articles more often. To his credit, Steve earned more points for writing the questions for an interview he did with Matt. That's one the biggest reasons why he beat out Spencer for 1st place, but not the only reason.
I originally gave Steve 5 points in the forum job category just for being the draft mod each season. But then I remembered, he has always been our CATO guy this whole time. Being that it takes time with each CATO update he does, I felt an additional 2 points for this was very deserving.
And that's how the close the difference was between 1st place and 2nd place for Steve and Spencer. Steve made the extra efforts in certain areas, while Spencer lacked the points altogether in one particular category.
This was fun to put together! I now plan on doing this maybe every other season, or in each of the even-numbered seasons. I hope you all enjoyed the read as well!
Until next time...

It took a while for Steve1213 to really become an active presence here, but he is now very active and a consistent contributor just about everywhere.
