I have no words to describe my emotions today. What has happened in Connecticut is numbing. I can't even imagine what each family is going through. As I have sat and watched the news coverage I have cried for each child that was killed. I know I will trust in God always. Because of the fall in Eden, humanity will always battle evil here on earth. Keep the faith in God of His mercy and grace.
Today it is hard to see your light God - "soooo much doesn't make sense", we say. Yet we go on about our lives today stirred but never shaken. 18 children, elementary age, had their candles snuffed out today. It's hard to think that any one person would do this to defenseless children.
God Bless these families, teachers, school staff, residence, local and state government and first responders. Please take a minute and pray for them today. If you have children hug them and hold them close tonight. Spend some extra time with them this weekend. Love on them more than you normally would. God Bless Newtown, Connecticut.

Just awful. One of my coworkers has a brother-in-law who teaches at an elementary school a few minutes from there. Can't even imagine.
