I'm going to do these a little differently this season and see how it goes.
Each player will be available as a regular free agent during the free agency period in the offseason. There will be no minimum bid amount. There will however be a minimum for years. You'll be able to see all of the ratings and there won't be any guess work this season.
There will also be a posting fee drawn from your in-game cash. All of these amounts will be known beforehand obviously.
Failure to give the minimum in years or not have enough cash on hand to pay for the posting fee will result in forfeiture of your next 1st round pick.
Each player will also come with some unknown flaws or strengths. These will be determined pre-free agency and will be unveiled once the player signs. This is where the risk comes in.
This will allow everyone a fair shot at each import. Like I said, trial basis this year. I'm hoping this gets more people bidding on these guys instead of one or two teams.

meh, the posting fees are too high it just doesn't seem worth the risk shut the fuck up I think I paid a 20mil posting fee for Ichiro. |

You only pay the fee if you sign the player. It's actually kind of similar to what is happening now irl, only in reverse order.
