Ratings, numbers, contracts.
Let me know if I've missed anything now that I'm starting to upload teams.
Teams done: AL East, AL Central, AL West, NL East, NL Central, Free Agents

Rest of the NL East is up! Time to go jerk off! I'll try to get the smaller divisions done tonight. Then the rest tomorrow. I think we should also start to recruit guys. Let's fill this baby up.

I'm not familiar with this at all but I see Andruw Jones with a HR rating of 7 vs Gary Sheffield's HR of 8.
Eh I dunno lol

The number ratings are weird. I just punch in their career average for those stats. So yeah Andruw's is probably a little high right now, but those numbers fluctuate literally every sim.

Be careful to not always use career stats for ratings. For an 18-year-old prospect who's not fully developed yet, you wouldn't want to use those.

Ha it's pretty simple. Just go off of stats. Vets will always try to rape in trades based off the talent ratings (good, brilliant, etc.), but a guy with a 'good' in average could easily be a .250 career hitter.

Also OOTP5 puts a ridiculous emphasis for pitchers on avoiding walks. Guy with fair or below will suck almost guaranteed. Guy with brilliant will be a stud.

If you create him in Free Agents, you can choose the team on the right side of the FA screen, then right click the player and he should say he'll agree to a minor league contract.
It's easier to do it from the team Transactions screen. Just click "Create fictional player" and it'll assign him to AAA. Then edit him as you please.

you can't control runs, the game determines that based off everything else. i'm guessing his walks are keeping him back
