Like I get trading because you have no money because you've lost for like 10 seasons in a row, but how does Glasnow help in 5 years when one would think he's closer to competing? Schwarber is way more valuable in a deal in 5 years as part of a package for a stud.

I'm not saying Schwarber is a stud, but this trade makes no sense timing wise.
He should have just signed cheap $1.5m-2m starters as stop gaps or traded uncamped 3.0-3.5 spects.
