Chicago Cubs
Franchise player – James Miele - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1102.html
Best player 25 and under - Lucius Fox Jr. - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p3560.html
Should they franchise him? Obviously Miele is and should be the franchise guy. I really like fox. I assume play will bump his ss range to A. And his stealing/speed will be tibd. Ugh, I think it is really close but I will have to say no to the franchise tag
St Louis Cards
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - Alejandro Sanchez - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1039.html
Should they franchise him? Not really sure if he is better than Bradley Laura or not but either way neither of them is close to a franchise player.
Cleveland Indians
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - Harold Grimm , Georges Wilson, Ignacio Nez, Dominic Smith, Johnny Rigsby, Raymond DeHerrera bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1730.html
Should they franchise him? Wow there is a ton of under 25 talent on this team but they still don't have that franchise guy. Neither of the pitchers have Brill hits and the hitters just have brill hrs. If I had to franchise one I would probably franchise smith but I don't think he should be franchised (I like Grimm and Rigby more than smith but they are both loyal).
Cincinnati Reds
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - James Court - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1151.html
Should they franchise him? Lol, Stutter's team sucks for somebody that hasn't been relevant for so long. I guess that drugs and bbsbl don't mix. Court is nice but not franchise tag nice. I would love to get him though.
Chicago White Sox
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under – Julian Zapata - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p210.html
Should they franchise him? So no gm can build a better team than Stutter. Lol. A ton of young talent here – soucy, baize, torralbo – but the future star is Zapata. Brill hrs/wlks and can be tibd to b/b stlg/speed. He is a lefty power bat and if he can learn to play cf at a high level I could see him being a low end franchise guy.
Oakland As
Franchise player – Mike Trout - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p3256.html
Best player 25 and under - Yoan Moncada - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p3563.html Should they franchise him? Close but no. Brill 2bs/hrs is really nice. He also plays a premium defensive position. I hate guys that have A/C or A/B speed/stlg though, they seem to just get thrown out too much. Should slide them to no steals. Really not much to say about how good trout is. Literally can do everything.
San Diego Padres
Franchise player – Joseph Lipton - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1013.html
Best player 25 and under - Ross Danley - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1082.html
Should they franchise him? Easy yes. Gotta give credit to Greeme for getting Danley and Lipton on the same team. I see a ring or more in their future.
Anaheim Angels
Franchise player – Kohl Stewart - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p2335.html
Best player 25 and under - James Oshiro
- bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p373.html
Should they franchise him? Still not sure why he was allowed to reverse and franchise Stewart. I don't love the choice anyway. I don't know really like the idea of franchising a guy without 3 brills. I would have much rather franchised Oshiro. A speed brill hits/walks guy that plays catcher is more franchise worthy imo. One plus of franchising a catcher is that the price tag is probably relatively low.
Colorado Rockies
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - Randy Flynn - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p815.html
Should they franchise him? Lol, no. Pretty embarrassing that Shale has nobody better tbh. At least his team is good for the next couple years.
Texas Rangers
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - Steven Mastropietro - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p838.html
Should they franchise him? Yes. Doesn't have the Brill hits but brill 2bs/hrs/walks is enough for me. He also has min loyalty so he might actually be cheaper with the franchise tag. I would try to teach him cf before he hits the majors which could bump up his value even more. Lyttle and Harden also deserve a mention here. So I mentioned them
San Francisco Giants
Franchise player – Mark Appel - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p2275.html
Best player 25 and under - Chance Sisco - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1392.html
Should they franchise him? I don't think I would have franchised Appel. See Kohl Stewart though not having a Brill in hrs is worse than not having a Brill in walks. I wouldn't franchise cisco. Nice to see the brill hits/2bs but it is not enough.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Best player 25 and under - Garrett Stone - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1607.html
Should they franchise him? No. I doubt anybody will ever franchise a closer and really nobody ever should but this guy will be the closest. 5 brills is awesome. If I didn't like Dale I would mention that Stone has been irid 6 times.
Arizona Diamondbacks
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - Adam Neth - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p416.html
Should they franchise him? When did he get all this young talent? Torres or Molina would be the best under 25 guy on a lot of teams. Needs young pitching though. I like Halpin but i'm not sure his hrs will ever get high enough. Back to Neth – I could see it. He has been tiad out already. The C/A split works well and he has great d up the middle. Brill hits/2bs is nice and his walks hit 8 with a good. My guess is that the up the middle franchise price tag is lower than of or pitcher. I would do it but it is very very close.
Seattle Mariners
Franchise player – none
Best player 25 and under - James Demery - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p216.html
Should they franchise him? Chitwood and Demery were very close. I gave the nod to Demery based on the speed and the fact that Chitwood can't play the field. Wouldn't franchise either though. Wonder when a seattle gm will finally tia Demery. Sigh.
Franchise player – James Miele - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p1102.html
Best player 25 and under - Lucius Fox Jr. - bbs56.net/BBSBL3/BBSBL3/Site/p3560.html
