.344. Miguel Cabreras career average is .344. Pretty amazing. By far the most dominant player in the history of BBSBL. AT 35 his career is finally winding down and hope for teams other than the Marlins winning the World Series is rising.
1. The [HASH]1 prospect according to OOTP is Tom Lanza from ANA. He is sick. Love this guy. Although his progression has stalled this year. Seems like he should've been called up this year. Power OBP and steals. And he should be a MI. Came up as a SS but actually I taught him 2B and I think thats where he should be. He should be a very good major league player on a stacked young Angels team.
1.39. Tanner Scheppers has a 1.39 ERA. The Mets are up and coming. Dan Chevy has done a good job of adding talent and most imporantly adding elite SP. Scheppers is really good having a great year.
1.045. Jake Lamb is the only NL hitter with an OPS over 1.000.
2. Josef Tabb is the [HASH]2 prospect according to OOTP. I love this guy. Really excited that he's gonna either bring me a huge return or gonna be my ace for the next decade. Last year was a good year to be bad. Hes consistent and a great leader and by next year hell have A duration. Love every aspect of his game. He might even be ready by the All Star break next year.
6. This will be Montreals 6th straight season losing 100. Kobe! WTF! Can you spend some money in free agency on pitching? Can you re fix your stadium or move to Washington. OMG at how bad this team is. Also stop offering for Tabb, you cant afford him.
6.78. Joe Smith has allowed only 6.78 base runners per 9 IP leading the NL.
7. Steven Mastroprieto is the [HASH]7 prospect according to OOTP. In my opinion he is the clear cut [HASH]1. G/B/B/B/B/A is insane. If he can get to 7/10/10/10/10/5 hell be such a fun player. Id love for him to end up as a franchise guy somewhere with locked ratings. I think he could put up some fun career stats. Play has so much talent.
10.04. Chris Sale srikouts out 10.04 men per 9 innings pitched.
13. Lucas Sims is the 13th prospect according to OOTP. He is a stud. Probably the most valuable young pitcher around. Hes a 10 in avoiding runs without his brilliant homerun rating being developed. He should be a CY Young candidate every year once he makes the majors.
14. Jordan Zimmerman has 14 wins without a loss. He is the front runner for the Cy Young in the American League.
16. Joe Smith leads the NL with 16 wins. He is the front runner for the NL Cy Young Award.
19. Caleb Thielbar leads the NL with 19 saves.
21. Jake Lamb leads the NL with 21 homeruns.
22. Craig Kimbrel is leading the AL with 22 saves.
23. Miguel Cabrera leads the AL with 23 homeruns.
45. Miguel Sano is the [HASH]45 prospect according to OOTP. He is the posted child for undeveloped prospects. Its so hard for a guy to grow from 1s and 2s. Reason number 5000 why sometimes developed players are better than highly rated youngsters. Not sure Sano will ever be anything in BBSBL at this point.
59. Oakland has 59 wins in 69 games. Crazy talk. An .855 winning percentage is a joke. How can one team be so good? And Sims isnt even up yet. Amazing.
104. Kolten Wong has 104 hits through 69 games. Thats 1.5 hits a game. Thats 240+ hits this year. Thats a good year. Kolten Wong can hit.
137. Hanley Ramirez has had the best game of the year thus far. His 137 rating on his 6/10 game was amazing. 5 hits. 4 homeruns. 10 runs batted in.
161. Oakland leads the league in lowest amount of runs allowed with 161. Smith, Strasburg, Derrico, Gonzalez. Nasty.
274. Oaklands run differential this year is 274. A good example of why they are playing so well this year.
435. Oakland leads the league in runs scored with 435. Lamb, Trout, Wilson, Profar, Baez, Johnson, etc, etc. Pretty good.
463. Johan Santana has 463 career wins. WTF? How is that possible. When 300 has been the real major leagues bottom line for the Hall of Fame BBSBL and the 4 man rotation will eventually re write basic pitching stats. Crazy that so many of the stud starters from the BBSBL era have 300 plus wins. Amazing.
