why? if they don't like it don't bid if his first is gone then the next first the guy has? What if all 3 of a team's next 1st round picks are all gone? cant bid? 2 2nds? be creative

he went two years no? pretty easy to handle two years 20 million unlike paying a DH that cant DH 120+ how is that easy? 40 game is like 20 board. i could buy a better pitcher with 20 board because you can either A: trade him to a tanking team with no salary commitments, or B, start losing yourself next year (20 million) or this year (40 Million), cut salary and cut him.

Stras took 4. something x 7 (that shocked me, but Average Average for a winning team must be minimal loyal)

I dont mind Compensation, but it has to be done right, all we would get with that setup is a ton of 9.999 offers

he wanted 20? let him go to FA, gamble on getting him back for less. why? for 5 mil less? it doesn't make sense taking the risk. if he was younger it might but not at this age because he already has no value, you are losing no value for nothing, and I could try to grab him (except I have nowhere to play him) Francouer had no value pre trade, no value post trade (and now, no Brilliant homers means NO VALUE YEE)

and it should only be for guys younger than say, 30? No? why, you wanna keep a guy 30+, pay him what he wants or let him walk, guys are allowed to walk all the time right now at 30+, no issue there, you never see guys in the 20's in FA. (Ackley is probably the best of the last few years.)
