They say in life, Cash Rules Everything Around Me. Just like reality, the same concept can be applied here with board cash. It is such a valuable asset. It can improve players. It can be used to trade for players. It can reverse bad PD's. It can be traded for in-game cash. And best of all, there are so many ways to earn board cash!
So after 20 full seasons, how much board cash has each of us actually made? Where exactly did all this money come from? We're all about to find out!
To do this, I went through every GM's bank claim thread and added up every single claim they made and even categorized the claims appropriately. Anything a GM earned that has yet to be claimed (such as posts, for example) were not included. Board cash earned through trades with other teams were not included as well.
Some GM's of course will have an advantage here if they have been either around longer and/or been more active in certain areas. Hopefully, this should all end up balancing out though more or less.
Here are the ranks! To keep this a true 20-season ranking, no claims after May 9, 2015 will be included, being that this was when the file was last flipped.
*Note: NFL Pick-Em section includes Super Bowl pick-ems as well.

Temp has clearly been the least ambitious AL GM when it comes to making board cash. He's made some claims here and there, but just hasn't put in that much effort altogether in particular. Hopefully, he and the Phillies will do better in the future.

HF's bank has been inconsistent. Some seasons he will make his claims. Other seasons, he won't make a single post. Not surprisingly, he's been more active lately, so he's been more proactive with his claims as well. This is good to see because his Braves are in a rebuild and could always use some more spending on TIA's and such.

Danchevy has not always been the most active GM here, but for the most part, he has done a good job with getting claims in and has been active in most of the big reward events that have occurred. The fact that his total is near the very bottom just show how much board cash everyone has actually earned over time.

Stoool hasn't been around too long, but since joining, has immediately one of the very most active GM's around. He not only does all his claims but does them in a very timely manner. He stays on top of his stuff and it all certainly helped him reach the World Series this past season. Keep up the good work!

Dave has definitely been more active in the past 10 seasons than he was in the first 10. He's been very proactive with making his claims and despite not always being active in every event, he has definitely earned his fair share of board cash over time.
9. Kobe

Half of Kobe's posts in his bank thread were actual claims, while the other half were posts of him whining at Play's banking. What a surprise! Kobe has been pretty good with keeping up with his claims, but did go through a few inactive stretches at times.

Jah is the kind of guy that takes his time with claims and posts them pretty much only when he really needs to. He's been efficient though with in-game rewards and season predictions, among other things and has more recently helped out as a draft mod. Not a bad overall total at all.
7. Game
Post Money: $17,000,000
Article Money: $0
Team/Player Reward Money: $78,600,000

Misc Money: $7,500,000

Game has always been one of the most active GM's when it comes to banking and he's benefited from some great Jays teams in the past. Nearly $80 million in in-game accomplishments is no joke. Being very active with season predictions and pick-ems helped him a lot as well.
6. Steve

Yeah I know Steve may no longer be with us unfortunately, but he was still a huge part of this league and was a co-commish for some time as well. Obviously, most of Steve's money has come from posts, commishing, draft modding and event participation, but he was consistent with doing season predictions and pick-ems among other things as well. He wasn't as proactive with getting all his in-game claims in, but he always had a lot of board cash on him for the most part. If this truly is it for him, we'll miss you, Steve!
5. Styro

GM Awards Voting Money: $9,000,000
Job Money: $0
Misc Money: $28,650,000
Total Money: $205,475,000
Styro has always been one of the most active forum posters and has done pretty damn well with season predictions over the years. He hasn't always been in all the events, but definitely made the most of the ones he has been in, most notably the World Cup event last year. He's been consistent with claiming season predictions and exports at the end of each season, but not so much with other stuff that happens during each season.
4. Erbes

Job Money: $73,000,000
Misc Money: $18,300,000
Total Money: $333,900,000
The majority of Erbes' money has come from commishing and writing articles, but as the guy that has put together just about every forum event we've had, he's obviously been very active in all of them as well. For someone that tries to keep everything in check as much as he does, Erbes certainly has earned quite a bit of board cash over time.
3. BreakTheWalls

Job Money: $22,000,000
Misc Money: $23,150,000
Total Money: $345,150,000
Break has always been one of the most active GM's here and having made nearly $350 million altogether speaks for itself. He's been very active with participating in most events and seasonal voting. He's also been one of the most active trade frenzy participants over time.
2. Stevie B
Post Money: $62,600,000
Article Money: $62,500,000

GM Awards Voting Money: $15,000,000
Job Money: $0
Misc Money: $24,750,000
Total Money: $372,150,000
Despite never having a forum job, Stevie B comes in at [HASH]2 among AL GM's and has earned quite a bit of money in many different areas. Among them include posting, articles, in-game accomplishments, exports and voting participation. He has gotten in just about every claim he's been able to and rarely, if ever now misses anything. He's done a fantastic job managing his finances both with board cash and in-game cash.

Job Money: $27,000,000
Misc Money: $15,050,000
Total Money: $456,925,000
Um just wow. Ashes has raked in as much, if not more in-game accomplishment cash than anyone. Having studs everywhere both offensively and on the mound certainly helps. He's also contributed a lot in articles, seasonal voting and co-commishing for a while. He's the most decorated GM in BBSBL history through our 1st 20 seasons, so it shouldn't be a surprise that he's earned significantly more board cash than any other AL GM. The question now is did he earn more than a few particular NL GM's?
With that being said, the NL GM 20th anniversary board cash ranks will be coming shortly!
