Pitching Runs Hits Doubles Homeruns Walks Strikeouts Velocity Overall 7 6 5 7 6 8 6 vs. LHP 6 5 7 6 8 vs. RHP 6 6 7 6 8 Talent Good Average Brilliant Good Brilliant
how does that translate to a 6.02 ERA
oh wait, he went up in Homeruns all around to an 8 as well, so its worse than that...

I agree. OOTP5 is by far the craziest of all the OOTP game engines.

I did the expos, padres and Cubs exports and none of them went through then Montgomery is released, re-signed for 20M. Interesting. That's how you have to do waivers in the game. Since there are no waivers in the game you have to release the guy and then resign him. Since most of the time the guy doesn't want to resign, you have to offer a nutty contract to get him to resign. I adjust them afterwards.

If you're making changes for next sim why don't you PM one of the changes to make sure they went through.

You can edit the player to have an injury. Put the player on the DL. Edit his iniury to healed and the time remaining on the DL from 15 days to 0 days and finally at that time move the player from the DL to AAA. You only need to resign a guy if you do post-trade deadline trades. Be sure to edit the contract to MLC so that player expenses are not added to the waiving team.
