Teams that end the season with a negative cash balance will be placed on financial probation and are subject to the following penalties:
- They will not be able to sign any free agents.
- They will not be able to add salary through trades or waivers.
- They have one season to get back to a positive cash balance.
- Getting to a positive cash balance during the season does not necessarily mean you are off financial probation. You have to make a legitimate effort to avoid financial probation in the future. These efforts will be judged by me alone.
Failure to get back to a balanced budget will result in a penalty determined by the commissioner based off of the effort put forth to get back to a positive cash point.
