[HASH]1 is OBP, [HASH]2 is best, [HASH]3 after you fill the four and five., not the best, [HASH]4 is best with Power, [HASH]5 is a good OBP guy, better to put a power guy at 3
put a basestealer 6th.
And yes, Pitch your pitcher 8th

statistically its better to put your best bat at 2, after your best OBP guy, leaves fewer double play chances, (speed doesnt matter at the top, only OBP) and provides the best opportunity with somebody on base. (also why its better to put your pitcher at 8 and a better hitter(not good, just, not your pitcher bad) at 9, to give the leadoff guy more opportunities with men on base
