Should this be done as more of a true MVP vote than just the players with the best offensive stats, plus the 1-2 best pitchers? Ok then. There are different ways to look at this.

HE DIDNT HAVE THE BEST STATS All he had was a ton of Homers in Coors. He didnt help his team any more than James fucking Gregory

Ok so basically top 2-3 in homers in a season should not mean automatic inclusion into the MVP vote? Would be good to know.

I know everyone values OPS above all but I factor in particularly good averages, homers and RBI just as much as OPS to be fair.

RBI means little, since its a matter of who is on base in front of you...maybe if you look at how they hit with Runners in Scoring position...
Scoring Position 194 50 18 0 8 83 0 30 34 9 0 0 .258 .343 .474 .818
not really special there

Homers and Average fall into OPS
and clearly you care about Average a ton since you stuck .247 Average Wright on there

its funnier for him to be on there..but yeah, putting him on there means you think he was one of the 8 most valuable players this season, which is laughable at best

Close/Late 73 30 3 3 9 27 13 10 16 0 0 1 .411 .488 .904 1.392
No wonder we won so much this year...
Trout had 73 PA in close games, and was amazing in them.
Close/Late 75 17 3 2 4 14 9 8 12 0 0 0 .227 .301 .480 .781
and Hanley wasnt, thats why Play's Pyth was poor
