NEWS FROM CANADA With not much going right for the Expos lately and with the recent drop in fan interest the Montreal Expos have decided to make some renovations to their stadium. The Expos stadium used to be considered a hitters park but after the great inflation happened in BBSBL it seemed to turn into more of a pitchers park. And after seeing brilliant hitters struggle in their park over the last few seasons, the Expos and their management have decided to make some changes to their home field. The Expos have decided to bring all of their walls in to the minimum accepted distances(Leftfield line: 300 feet/Leftfield: 320 feet/Left-Center: 360 feet/Centerfield: 380 feet/Right-Center: 360 feet/Rightfield: 320 feet/Rightfield line: 300 feet) and lower the height of their walls from 9 feet to 7 feet. “Obviously the goal here is to turn the stadium into a homerun hitters dream and gets fan interested again in Montreal” said general manager Bro Namath. With the Expos expecting to be rebuilding for a few seasons this should help with the fan interest since everyone loves homeruns. This should also help make Montreal a more attractive destination for players especially all of the power hitters in the league. The Expos management knows this means they have to change their philosophy and restructure their roster to fit with the new stadium change, but the Expos also realize of course the road teams will have the same advantage in their park and that they still have to play 81 games on the road. So they don’t need to go overboard with all homerun hitters and nothing else. All in all, if the Expos can put together a strong pitching staff that doesn’t allow many homeruns and they build around power hitters on offense then this should be a successful investment for them.

You have 50 million left. You could pretty easily just fix your park. Id do a completely neutral park.
