It's kind of dumb to have this option, but I feel like it's a basic contract these days irl. 2. The average of the top 5 players at the same position (RF, CF, LF will all count as OF; 2B and SS will all count as MI; 1B and 3B will all count as CI), maximum of one $20M contract in the average. Years will be determined by the players loyalty: minimum loyalty will be 6 years, average loyalty will be 7 years, loyal loyalty will be 8 years. More than likely this will be the more expensive option so you don't have to commit for as many years. - The owner has the option to decline the contract. Declining the contract will result in fan loyalty dropping two categories.
