CSN New England's Tom Curran reports the Texans are on the verge of acquiring Patriots QB Ryan Mallett.
the pats going qb in the first round??? whos out there as a free agent??
they have johnny football falling to 20(only 9 picks off) now i might be right with him going to new england lol

The Boston Globe's Ben Volin suspects the Patriots will net a middle-round pick in the potential Ryan Mallett-to-Houston trade. i guess no johnny football unless he really drops unless the pats are going for the #1 pick lol mallett their 1st and 2nd for the #1 lol Texans are interested but it would probably be like a 4th or 5th.

Not in love with Mallett, plus his contract is up after this year. Rather have them take a flyer on someone in the draft.
