So looks like everyone is okay with what has been proposed so let's get this going. Below are the potential 2007 HoF inductees.
2B/SS/RF Roberto Alomar
CATO Player Page
BBSBL Career: .288/.347/.443/.790, 1321 hits, 245 2Bs, 123 HRs (8 seasons)
Gold Gloves: 2
All-Star: 3
Robby Alomar enjoyed a nice productive career here at BBSBL for 8 seasons. 1999 was by far his best year as he posted .344 BA, won a Gold Glove, made the All-Star Game, and lead the league in hits (214). 1996 was also a great year for Alomar as he put up a .967 OPS, finished second in hits, third in total bases, and fourth in runs created.
SP Randy Johnson
CATO Player Page
BBSBL Career: 3.16 ERA, 1548.6 IP, 117-65, 1427 Ks (8 seasons)
All-Star: 2
The Big Unit was a force to be reckoned with while in BBSBL. His best season came in 2000, while at the age of 36, pitching for the Florida Marlins. Johnson went 30-4 with a 2.70 ERA, 223 Ks (only 54 walks), and a .204 opponent batting average. While he has never lead the league in anything, for his career he ranks 25th in ERA, 26th in Ks, and 9th in opponent batting average.
SP Kevin Brown
CATO Player Page
BBSBL Career: 3.06 ERA, 1960.0 IP, 139-65, 1174 Ks (8 seasons)
Cy Young: 1
All-Star: 3
Kevin Brown will best be remembered for his 1997 Cy Young winning season. In that season he went 21-7 with a 2.20 ERA, 201 Ks, 4 shutouts. He lead the league in ERA and complete games that season, as well opponent average, slugging, and OPS. His career 3.06 ERA places him 20th all time in that category. His .882 WHIP in 1997 ranks 28th all time.
CL Rod Beck
CATO Player Page
BBSBL Career: 335 SVs, 2.85 ERA, 48-46 (10 seasons)
World Series Championships: 2
All-Star: 3
Rod Beck has bounced around a bit in his career, but he has always been rock solid. His 335 BBSBL saves ranks 5th all time for the league. His best season probably came in 1996 when he posted a 2.20 ERA with 46 saves while with San Francisco. His two championships came in seasons where he posted 42 saves (2.15 ERA) and 46 saves (2.52 ERA), both with the Giants. From 1996 to 2004 he finished in the top 10 for saves each season.
