lincecum- 2 highest WARs (7.1, 7.5, kershaw's career high is 6.6), 2 of the 3 lowest xfips, 2 highest k/9, 2 of the 3 lowest hr/fb, 4 highest gb%s all kershaw has on lincecum is walks, which in lincecum's prime he had under control

Kershaw went 43.2% GB in 2011, while Lincecum went 43.9% in 2008... sooooo?

Also Kershaw was close to 40% in 2010.

Not sure I consider 3.33 BB/9 elite in '08, but that's fine. I'd prefer Kershaws 1.98 in '13 (or 2.08 in '11 or 2.48 in '12). Let's not try to minimize the walks. That's a big difference.

Stevie B, who do you like so I know how much I gotta win? Your team blows...I don't really care where your pick lands...it'll be a top 10 pick for sure...with a chance of going top 5. You and break sharing the same needle again?

Lincecum xFIPs in '08 and '09: 2.83 and 3.09 Kershaw's '11-'13: 2.84, 3.25, 2.88
So Lincecum has 2 of 3 (by .01), but Kershaw has 2 of 4.

what's the point of isolating a stat and saying it's not elite? you have their full stat lines to compare and their aggregated values to look at. you know who comes out on top bro

you already used xfip, which is homer neutral, and you have lincecum's higher gb%, so i dunno what youre going for here. lincecum gave up more homers on the road in 08 though

Only reason lincy dropped off is due to MLB TAKING his Bong away

Lincy is 20-7 with a whip of 0.99 for the GABL giants.

I think Kershaw's '13 is better than Lincecum's '08 or '09. Am I saying Lincecum's prime years weren't off the charts amazing? No. All I'm saying is I prefer Kershaw.
