everybody just wants me to give them fives, thats not how its gonna work, so yeah, the fucking complaining is getting old, Im doing this for nothing, guess I should just quit, let somebody who will just give fives to everybody take over...that way nothing changes I personally think people want something in between what happened before and what's going on now. That's just the way I see it... which leaves everybody getting 5's, the lowest grade Ive given out so far is a 3.5, this article averages to a four, so how do we change go in between a four and a five under the old system, also, I failed a bit, Im gonna rescind the 3.5, there was enough content to warrant a four, which is 2 million for him, but what frustrates me is skirting around questions, the interview is about having an opinion, so going and doing something like this "Eh, I'm gonna leave this one short and sweet...does he get picked on some? Yeah, probably. Does he bring the majority of it on himself? Yeah, probably. David Wright sucks donkey balls. " or ranking Erbes 1 to suck up to the commish is a cop out. If I've got speed, I utilize steals more. If not, I try for the hit and run more. Pulling pitchers depends on my staff. Usually wait on my starters and quick hooks on my pen guys. what about that is not obvious. 3 legit offers? 2 stud offensive players...one IF, one OF or one C and one of the others. Is it going to happen? Probably not. Everyone says I ask for too much, and then I see some trades happen and am just amazed. why not go specific, thats not really any legit offers, thats entirely speculative, doesnt mention anybody It deserves a 5 because Nanz actually is showing some initiative and participating. Only thing that would have made it better is if it was a roundtable with the Dodgers and the horribly inactive TwinsGM. Like the fact that I'm in first right now. Im grading these separately, and you say because Nanz is showing Initiative...smfh

honestly, in an interview, thats 4.5 million for a similar amount of content, if you guys can read between the lines, Nanz got a 4.5, not a five (for which I realized I left this short, giving Atlanta a 1.5 only = 4 total in that case, and I feel it was justifiably enough better than Spencers to deserve more overall. I gave an extra .5 to Nanz because Erbes refused to let me give out halves back in the first article under the new system, and then allowed after that.

also, this should not be a one person job at all, there should be two or three on the committee, that way this stops being all on one person.

Now the public perception is that I "recycle" questions, so I gotta come up with a new style I guess.

How about we come up with a rubric so everyone knows what to aim for when theyre typing up their article?
Something like this could work...
Content: /3 Was it interesting, did the article flow together and was it league relevant?
Formatting/Grammar: /2 It doesnt have to be completely error free but at least to the point where it doesnt make the article hard to read.
Final: /5
