bbsblthree.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=articles&action=display&thread=1814
Remember this article? Erbes did a great job with presenting the different cliques within BBSBL and how each of them had done here up to that point. Well I'm gonna take it a step further.
What exactly makes the BBSBL forum go around? Each GM here fits into one of the categories that I will thoroughly describe. Unlike Erbes' article, no one is going to get left out here. I don't leave people hanging like that.
Now I just have a few quick points to make before we begin. I'm not writing this from my own personal perspective. This is honestly written from the perspective of a non-GM that were to study BBSBL history since the very beginning. I will do my best to let personal bias stay out of this. If my personal opinions are ever involved, I will specifically mention that. I don't want anyone thinking that I'm personally attacking them. Everything I say will be just the honest truth from a third party perspective.
I will also specifically describe what it means to be in each category and why each GM was placed where they are. Hopefully, there will be little to no clarification issues here.
Last but not least, I'm not using pictures in this article only out of respect for the rest of you. I've seen a few pictures of what some of you guys look like, but out of privacy, I will not disclose even the most subtle hints of your appearances. Being that this article is entirely about us GM's, there is no reason for pictures here. Sorry Habes.
Ok enough of this prelude nonsense...let's begin!
The Trolled Victims
The GM's in this category were placed here for being the victims of trolling, teasing, and other such malarkey. These guys have either made poor decisions and judgments as a GM, or have behaved a little too angrily/emotionally at times, or both. Regardless, some people have gotten called out numerous times for different things and here they are:
- BreakTheWalls
As the former so-called "ring-leader" of the "friend trades" that took place between him, D-Rowe and myself a while ago, Break has without question been one of the most notable trolled victims in BBSBL history.
Break has complained about many things over the months and has had GM's like Play, Styro, Erbes, Stutter, Habes, BravesGM, TwinsGM, and Jah, among others attack him mercilessly. Speaking of Erbes, Break also has had long held conspiracy theories that Erbes has always been trying to screw him over due to the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry. It seems like Break has finally moved past that in recent time, but that won't ever be forgotten from the past.
Break has been one of the most emotional GM's here by far. He has worn his emotions on his sleeve, but is passionate about BBSBL and he probably values everything here very highly in his life. Not everything though is his fault entirely. One could blame Break himself for why he keeps choking in the postseason, but OOTP gets random sometimes and the program itself should deserve at least part of the blame for being the way it is. We can't change it, but sometimes, people just have awful luck and Break is probably one of those people.
More recently, Break has been quieter on the forum. He has been ignoring Stutter and TwinsGM in particular, being that those two are the ones that have caused him the most trouble over the past couple months. It's good to see that Break is not letting these people control his emotions anymore.
- DRowe13
Dan has not been as active with posting on this forum as much as his best friend, Break. However, being that he was involved with the "friend trades", Dan is in this category because he also took a lot of heat for being involved with it.
In more recent months, Play and Spencer in particular have called Dan out for not being particularly active, when in fact, Dan actually has been doing everything he needs to do. He's more on the quiet side, and who can blame him with the busy and stressful work schedule he has.
Hopefully, the nonsense between Dan and Play in particular can die down forever. It sucks to see such ridiculousness get as bad as it has sometimes.
- StutterBomb
Yet another member of the Long Baller clique is in this category. However, Stutter is no longer even part of the Long Baller clique because he left that league. He is now only part of the MLBDH clique that includes him, myself, Break and Darell.
Ever since he joined BBSBL at the end of the 1997 season to replace Jeffers, our original Reds GM, Stutter has taken probably more heat in general than anyone else here. Stutter has been called out numerous times for what other GM's believe to be his poor decision making skills and laziness in general. Styro and Steve1213 in particular have called out Stutter many times on this stuff.
With someone like Stutter, you have to take the bad with the good. The good is that Stutter is very active, he posts a lot, he checks everything and exports regularly. He is passionate enough to be a notable presence generally speaking.
On the flip side, with Stutter, you will also have a pothead that is just about always high and won't make too many big efforts beyond the bare minimum. You won't see Stutter write articles or get too emotionally invested in BBSBL. He's too high to even give a shit that much.
Unfortunately, as a pothead, Stutter is also well known for forgetting to do many simple things. The worst of this occurred during the expansion draft when he left Dan Uggla and Buddy Carlyle both unprotected. Sadly, Stutter ended up having to trade some of his better major league players to get Carlyle back from the Devil Rays. Face palm much?
Stutter also has made it known that he doesn't like Break and will not listen to his advice no matter what. Break though still keeps trying to get Stutter on his side, but Stutter can be stubborn with things like that. Hopefully more GM's can accept him and the way he does things here.
- Game
Game being in this category has entirely to do with his rather poor performance as the Jays GM and nothing to do with any behavior and emotions.
The fact of the matter is that when Game returned from his brief hiatus, he got the Jays team that DanChevy once had. Despite having such a talented team to start with, Game has not made the most of it and it's crazy how the Jays have not made the postseason even once thus far. With Halladay and Carpenter (before he got traded), you would have thought the Jays would be legit already, right? Nope. Game for a while did the bare minimum with effort, but more recently, he has done more to try and improve his team.
I'm not sure if Game still has Erbes do all his changes for him and if Game's laptop is still sitting in the closet after Game threw it in there. But seeing wasted talent like the Jays have not amount to much has been sort of sad to see. Thankfully Game is finally getting his shit together. At least 10-15 GM's or more have called out Game for the Jays' lack of performance, but it seems as if Game doesn't take the personal attacks too seriously and that has definitely helped his rep here.
Maybe one day the Jays will finally live up to their expectations, but for now, they are just trying to stay in the race. If Game learns his lesson and does more with his team, the sky could be the limit for the Jays.
- D2ACollectables
Although he is one of the most quiet GM's here, Dave without question has to be in this category after seeing Play keep attacking him numerous times without any mercy. Play has been adamant about Dave "not doing anything with his shitty team" and has done everything he can to try to get Dave to leave, but Dave has stayed put.
Further complicating Dave's rep here is the phone beef he had with Erbes. Dave was definitely a grown man enough to actually call Erbes and try to chew him out, but Erbes dodged that like a coward.
The fact of the matter is that Dave's Tigers are loaded with great hitting prospects and he is waiting patiently for his time to strike. He will still be quiet generally speaking, but that's what it is for him. He's one of those guys that you just have to take what you can get from them.
Dave sounds like he may have some anger issues, but if he was just blowing off steam whenever it looked like he was angry, that's ok. The personal attacks by certain people here can go way too far sometimes and I don't blame Dave for blowing off steam like that. When push comes to shove, certain things are bound to happen. Hopefully, Play, Erbes and others can back off Dave for good and just let him do his thing here.
- Shale
I'm gonna try to keep this short about myself. Yeah I'm Shale. I was born with a few mental and social deficiencies and I've worked hard over the years to get where I am today. I have taken the trolling that Play, Erbes, Styro and Steve1213 in particular have done way too seriously. I went too far with my emotions, said a few too many dumb statements that I would regret shortly after, but I have learned things here.
The NC guys in particular really set me straight with some of the advice they gave me for dealing with trolls and not caring about what others think of me. As a GM, I've made my fair share of dumb trades. Some things just didn't work out, but you need to move on and not bury yourself in the past.
I'm doing everything I can to be successful for a long time. Sometimes I overhype myself and what not, but then again, everyone else does too. If I keep my emotions in check and not go too far with the over-hyping, that could make a difference.
I want to take this time now to apologize for any and all offensive comments I may have made. I sometimes have issues controlling my emotions and I'm working on improving them and becoming a better presence on this forum. Thank you to everyone for all your caring and understanding that you have shown!
The Trolls
The trolls here are the antagonists of BBSBL. They like to start trouble, cause grief to others and do whatever it takes to temporarily entertain themselves. It's easy to understand where they are coming from, but to do so at the expense of other people's feelings might be a little much. There are three obvious trolls on this forum, but the fourth may surprise a few of you.
- Erbes
In order for one to judge how an OOTP league and forum look, it all starts and ends with the commissioner in charge. Erbes knows how and when to put his straight face commish hat on, but when he's acting more like a regular GM and a person than a commish, that's when things can get out of hand.
Erbes is not particularly compassionate. He's been inconsistent with giving people a break on certain shit or being tough about it. He has trolled his fair share of fellow GM's and did not even show any remorse when it was discovered that he blindly shared PM's with other GM's that were not part of the original discussion. And then more recently, there was the draft pick controversy that got really ugly for a while.
As far as letting new GM's in and kicking the inactive ones out, Erbes' track record has not always been consistent with that. He kicked out 2 GM's in separate occurrences before letting them both back in eventually. He even contemplated letting DanChevy back in, but did not end up doing so, fearing a backlash from some of his friends here.
The GM's that Erbes has offended over time have included BreakTheWalls, DRowe13, Stutter, Game, D2A and myself in particular. Erbes though has seemed to really go after me more than anyone. He seems to really enjoy offending me and trying to put me down. But I got my mind right now so that's ok. If that what he needs to boost his ego, then whatever. As for the phone call with Dave, Erbes handled it very poorly and backed out like a bitch.
As a commish, Erbes is the one in charge of all of this. But it doesn't exactly look good for a commish to try to put down certain people here for shit that is sometimes beyond their control.
- Play34HammerBasketball
Play has always been one of the most controversial GM's here. He is always on his high horse talking shit to people he feels he needs to set straight. Is there another GM that he hasn't publicly called out? It seems like Play's job here is mostly just to talk smack to all the other GM's and tell them why they aren't doing as well as they should.
The only problem with Play's reasoning is that every time, Spencer will get on him and flash his three championships at him and be like "Yo Play kiss the rings bitch!" AMIRITE?
Where do we start with all the people in particular Play has gone after? He went after Break, DRowe13 and I really hard with the friend trading nonsense and at times has kept going after all three of us due to various disagreements and maybe even genuine hatred. He hasn't gone after Stutter as much as others have, but has chimed in on Stutter's decision making skills.
Play has gone after Game like everyone else has about Game's laziness and lack of moves. He goes after Jah for being Jah, although that relationship is a lot more friendly generally speaking. He trolls Spencer and telling him that his aging Giants are done, but each time, Spencer makes Play eat his words and look like a moron.
Play has publicly challenged the Royals GM to a street fight. He has also had his notable differences with Matt, the Braves GM. He has never seen eye to eye with either of them. But Play's most notorious beef is without question against D2ACollectables. Play has trashed Dave with no limits. He has completely gone out of his way at times to make Dave feel like shit and questions why Dave is still even in BBSBL.
Speaking of that, this seems to a very common theme with Play. In many different occurrences each season, he has questioned why certain GM's are still here and has publicly stated that most, if not all GM's here are "replaceable." So what do you want then, Play? A whole OOTP league all to yourself? Full control of all 30 teams to your liking? You already export for 5 or 6 other GM's. Is that not enough for you? Are you that power hungry? Your threats of people getting kicked out haven't really worked and they are empty threats to begin with.
Don't get mad at me for asking these. Again, I'm not asking you as if I'm Shale. I'm asking as if I was an unknown journalist that happened to observe BBSBL history since the beginning. In other words, I'm not being myself here. I'm doing this whole thing as if I'm someone else. Thanks for your understanding!
- LosAngLife
Play though might not even be the worst troll in the league. To his credit, Play has a lot of common sense and knows when to be more respectful to his peers. Styro on the other hand is not as respectful to the same degree at any time.
Styro is probably the most ruthless troll on this forum. The guy speaks his mind at all times and without regard to what anyone else may be thinking. Styro is very selfish and everything is all about himself here. If even the slightest annoyance sets him off, he will go all out and chew out anyone that needs to be called out. Nothing matters to him except being entertained for a few minutes. It's sorta sad, but that's who he is.
Since the beginning of BBSBL, Break, DRowe, Stutter, Game, Nanz and myself in particular have all been on Styro's radar. Styro has also been extremely critical of Erbes as a commissioner. He has mercilessly gone after all the GM's mentioned and could care less if any of them hate him or even want to mend fences. I tried mending fences with Styro for one, but that did not work because Styro was stubborn and sticks to his guns.
In order for Styro not to call you out, you need to roll with the punches and not take a single statement he says seriously. If he makes fun of you, then you make fun of him wasting his time trying to make himself feel better about himself by going after others for no specific reason. Take it or leave it.
- Steve1213
Believe it or not, Steve1213 has actually become a legitimate troll here. He is not at the same level as the other 3 more notable trolls, but he has certainly worked his way up there by more or less becoming Styro's right-hand man on the forum. The guy decided that in order for Styro to not troll him, he would have to act just like him and pretend to be like him in order to earn more respect. Thus, it sort of looks like Steve1213 is Styro's bitch in a way.
Steve1213 used to be one of the quietest GM's here. He rarely posted at all, but in recent time, Steve1213 has been more active, has posted a lot more and has been very outspoken with his opinions.
But what exactly has turned him into a troll? Besides becoming butt buddies with Styro, he has relentlessly trolled the heck out of Stutter and myself in particular. Steve1213 has repeatedly called out Stutter for his poor decision making skills and other mistakes he has made. But he has gone even further with me and has called me out many times regarding my Rockies team, the real Mets, and other things I have said at times.
So yeah if you are trying to copy original trolls and go after 2 other GM's in particular, that is good enough to be considered a troll. It is what it is.
The Neutral Crowd
Most GM's in this league will fit into this category. To be in the neutral crowd, you are neither a troll, nor a notable victim. But you care about the relationships with everyone here and try to be peacemakers at times. The neutral GM's try to keep things light and not uptight, but will also be outspoken when necessary.
- Steve
As one of Erbes' most trusted GM's here, Steve is one of the three GM's that should be considered the glue and backbone to this league and forum. His knowledge of OOTP, CATO and BOSI, among other things has been wonderful for all of us. At times, he has been a good middle ground between the trolls and their victims. He has made light of certain situations and has even taken his own time to give me advice on some of the trolls here and how to successfully deal with them. Good looks on all the advice!
Not to mention, Steve has done a great job with running the draft, along with Play. Keep it up!
On this forum, Steve has his own unique sense of humor in a way. It's better though than Erbes' old #frosted nonsense, which never became popular to anyone but Erbes himself. Steve's most famous line these days is calling someone what they say. Let's say someone says that video games are a fun activity. Steve will be like "you're a fun activity." That's his style right there.
Steve though has maintained good relations with just about everyone else. It's critical that at least some people here can really get along with everyone, just so this forum doesn't turn into a full blown war.
- Spencer
The most successful GM here thus far is another significant piece of the glue to this league and forum. Spencer has been able to find ways to get along with everyone and talk shit, all while not going too far and being a respectful person here. He is one of the best GM's on this forum because of that. He has fun, but know when to not cross the line. I respect people like that a lot!
As I stated already, Play has called out Spencer numerous times about his team, but Spencer keeps embarrassing Play and just might keep doing so for a long time at this rate.
Spencer at times has been a bit critical of DRowe and Stutter in particular, but unlike the trolls, he has not gone out of his way to make personal attacks on them. Spencer really just wants to see more effort from those two and while he may be overthinking the lack of efforts of some GM's, he has a point with everything he says and we all ought to at least listen in for a bit.
- Ashes
The third part of the glue to this league and forum has been Ashes. Even though he is currently in the middle of a 2 month stint with the military, Ashes is still a big part of BBSBL and things will be back to normal once he returns. Like Steve and Spencer, Ashes has spoken his mind at times, but knows when to not cross the line.
Ashes has been helpful and kind to just about everyone here. I'm happy that he's been here and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know him. He is yet another GM that has given me great advice generally speaking and I gotta give him props for that.
Ashes' articles have been phenomenal over time and his interviews are a model of excellence.
- Broph
What is Broph best known for here? The answer is rather self explanatory by now: complaining about PD hits! Despite all that, Broph is one of the more level-headed and even-tempered GM's in BBSBL. If something is on his mind, he will let people know, but other than that, he is rather easygoing.
Broph doesn't really butt into the troll wars that take place, but generally speaking, he is one of the more outspoken presences. His new job as article mod is a very good fit for him. Hopefully, he likes what he sees here!![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
- Darell
Even before he got his actual Diamondbacks team together, Darell has been active here for months. Break and I are the only people he knew really well before this. As a result, he playfully pokes fun at us, while also doing the same stuff with others, but sometimes in different ways. Darell (who is also known as Bush, due to his former obsession with Reggie Bush back in the day) is definitely level-headed and fair generally speaking. He knows not to cross the line with anyone and is very respectful to everyone he knows.
Darell is an OOTP vet and is good with every single he thing he does here, except making jokes. He is terrible at making jokes and it's been a running gag for years on our Vent server that Bush is the worst joke teller ever. He has carried that title here as well.
- JahAllStar
One of the more quiet GM's, Jah is like a detective. He snoops around the forum once in a while, doesn't say much at first, but then later on, once a good topic is brought up, he will present very convincing arguments and opinions. In other words, he is usually quiet, but can be outspoken when he feels the timing is right.
Jah also has the task of playing peacemaker between Play and D2A. Jah and D2A have known each other in person for many years, while Jah has known Play for a long time through other leagues. So basically, any time Dave is involved with any controversies, Jah is automatically thrown into the mix in order to support Dave and keep things in good order. Jah has done a very good job with that and it's always nice to see friends stick up for each other.
- BravesGM
Matt, our Braves GM, might only be in his 30s, but he's already viewed as one of the more old school GM's here. Matt is level headed and gets along with most other GM's. But he has had his fair share of disagreements, particularly with Break and Play. Most of these issues have had to do with trades and Matt supposedly "lowballing" them with offers. Personally, I really don't consider Matt too much of a lowballer, but one thing I do know is that from MLBDH to BBSBL, BreakTheWalls despises lowballers in general.
One thing Matt has become well known for has to do with auto picks in drafts. He got screwed over once and now tries to poke fun at others possibly getting fucked over just like he did. So every time a draft comes around, I can already predict Matt will come at us with keeping the draft picking at a fast pace.
Another task Matt has had has been sticking up for his boy, Jeff, the Twins GM. Matt has always been able to convince everyone else that Jeff is doing ok and whenever Jeff needs to make a pick for a draft, Matt is always here to let him know. Like I said with Jah and Dave, it's good to see Matt and Jeff stick up for each other as well.
- TwinsGM
We may as well move onto Jeff now. Jeff to his credit is very busy all the time as a person involved with emergency medical services. It's pretty cool to be at Bengals games all the time and hopefully that job will never get too crazy for him.
Anyway, Jeff hasn't always had the time to post and do stuff, but he has been good with exporting, answering PM's and being active when necessary. Now if he would only complete another interview or 2, that would be even better.![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
To be honest, at first glance, this would not even be the right category for Jeff because he doesn't get involved in too much of the nonsense here. However, Break has called him out in the past for not being active enough and Jeff has started to troll Break a bit to get back at him as a result. Thus, those two points cancel each other out and put Jeff in the neutral category by default.
- Royals
Pete, our Royals GM is certainly one of the more old school GM's around. He hates the board cash system and seems to prefer the GABL way of doing things in general.
On the forum, Pete posts when convenient and will speak up when necessary. He gets along with just about everyone here, although he did have one notable incident with Play in which at least one of them challenged each other to a street fight. All in all though, Pete is easygoing, is very active, writes a lot and puts in work with his team. His presence on the forum is definitely more in the good range.
- Aaron
Although he at first was very quiet and didn't post much, Habes' activity has gotten 10x more noticeable, with many more posts and articles in general. Coincidentally, the reason why Habes became so much more active probably has to do with the fact that he was on summer vacation and school will be starting for him again soon. That will be mean less Habes on the forum.![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
Habes is not one to really get involved in the forum drama and really doesn't care about it much. However, when he sees it, he tries to make light of the situation and sort of become a peacemaker at the same time. He's offered me and others good advice on this and is one of the funnier guys here generally speaking.
Habes is easygoing, keeps things light and loose here and is a great presence on this forum generally speaking. He is very much like his NC boys in just about every way, but the difference with Habes is that he is now a lot more active with posts and actually tries to diffuse some of the drama here. Good stuff!
The "I Don't Care" Group
The neutral guys are neutral, but try to make everything on this forum better for everyone else and care about containing some of the ridiculous drama that occurs here. This next group though is also neutral, but none of these guys really give a shit about helping control some of the drama or paying attention to other nonsense. These guys don't have as much heart invested into BBSBL, but have always been active and chime in once in a while with good advice and funny lines.
- ARodGrownAssMan
It became clear since Day 1 that the "Nanzanator" is a 1 man show. The biggest reason Nanz doesn't get too involved in forum drama here is because he's too busy always thinking about himself. Or is it his biceps? Or John Stamos? Or Disney Channel cartoon characters? Or maybe kissing a mirror while looking at himself next to A-Rod? Who knows. All that stuff though describes Nanz in a nutshell. AMIRITE?
For many months though, Nanz was almost non-existent on this forum. The guy though was busy with school, but still could've put in at least some effort here. Just about every GM ended up calling him out on that. For all that time that Nanz was MIA, his boy Dan could've put together a new reality show that had to do with the search for a new Mariners GM. He would've easily been able to complete a full 12-15 episode first season for sure by the time Nanz legitimately came back.
Despite his exaggerated forum persona, Nanz deep down inside is a good and kind person that wants others be as happy and successful as he is. He offers great advice sometimes and thanks for doing so!
- DonBasucci
Speaking of Dan, he is definitely one of the quietest GM's around. I can't blame him in particular though. Dan has a very busy schedule while working as a production assistant for NBC and the YES network, all while filming his own projects on the side. God Bless him though for having such an opportunity to live the dream!
Again, Dan barely posts, generally speaking, but chimes in random posts at random hours, just so we all know that he's still around and doing well. We gotta take what we can get from Dan, but he's a good dude. He is caring and very insightful and I gotta thank him for some of the advice he has given here. Y'all gotta watch his movies too.
- JMase
James is yet another NC guy that doesn't post much, but here and then, he will add some funny lines to the general dialogue and has an excellent sense of humor.
If anyone is laid back and care free here and doesn't get shit talked by anyone at the same time, it's James. He really can keep us all loose and his words have definitely helped me ease my mind at times when I really needed it to happen. Thanks for the help with that for sure!
Maybe James will post more once his Mets become serious contenders, which could happen soon. That pitching staff is filthy! But for now, James doesn't post much, but when he does, listen in because you might learn something important from it.
- Mark
Our new Rays GM Mark has not been around all that long, but has clearly known a good number of the GM's here for years and obviously knows the 4 other NC GM's because those are his lifelong best friends. Plus him and Erbes of course know each other from college.
Like the other NC guys, Mark is quiet, but he adds to the discussions when he can. He enjoys poking fun at Spencer because they've known each other for a long time. Other than that, it's mostly just a lot of inside jokes between him and the other NC guys that are mentioned here. That's cool. There's still more time for the rest of us to get to know Mark better. Hopefully, he stays here for a long time and becomes a mainstay.
- Waldo
Waldo used to post a lot more on this forum, but for unknown reasons, his random YouTube posts have no longer been an everyday occurrence.
Waldo really is best known for his random YouTube clips and his chatting about Grandma. He is a very unique character and someone that has been a great presence here due to his humor and his efforts with keeping us loose.
Generally speaking, Waldo doesn't get into too much drama here. He's a happy person and there isn't much in this league that has really brought him down.
- BigBuhner
BigBuhner used to be a lot more active with posting, but it seems like he has either decided to spend a lot more time with his family or that he has simply gotten burnt out with OOTP and BBSBL. Whatever the reason, BigBuhner isn't always around and does the bare minimum these days. He never butts in and gets involved with forum drama, so this category suits him well.
- BoSoxi
Another old school GM, BoSoxi has never been particularly active with posting and communicating with others. He always exports, answers PM's and does everything required of hims as a GM, but aside from the last post pad session in which he quoted Seinfeld and listed a top 100 wrestler countdown, BoSoxi just hasn't chimed in much on the forum. He either doesn't get involved with any forum drama or sees it and laughs it off to himself. As a result, this group is a perfect fit for him.
The Newcomers
There are also three GM's here that are rather new to BBSBL. Crazy Mike though isn't exactly a new face to some people here. His Babe of the Day posts have already become a huge hit and he has yet to really get himself involved in any forum drama.
Dale, our Dodgers GM is probably the most senior member of BBSBL now(in age), but he doesn't have time to post much or be here a lot, due to some of his work negotiation issues at work for his union and what not. Best of luck with that, Dale!
Finally, Dave Dean has barely even been here, but has already contributed quite a few funny GIF clips to this forum. He could become a very good fit with this league. Time will tell.
The Ex-GM's that Bit the Dust
Unfortunately, with the newer GM's coming in, it's meant that other former GM's are no longer here. Let's give them all proper shout outs.
- CSC5782
Chris was our original Astros GM. He was as knowledgeable as anyone in this league about OOTP and what not. If he was still here, he would've fit well into the Neutral group because he posted a lot, didn't get involved into too much drama, but always tried to make things better here. Best of luck on HOFFBL! Can't wait to be a part of it.
- JMich24
JMich was our second Angels GM after Game went on his brief hiatus. JMich never really cared to interact with anyone or contribute much beyond the bare minimum, so the "I Don't Care" group would have been perfect for him.
- GMGreggor
Like JMich, Greg barely ever contributed much on the forum. He did everything asked of him as GM with exports and PM's, but it seemed like he never really cared about us as people and never wanted to interact much. Thus, the "I Don't Care" group would have been right for him.
- DanChevy
Dan was ousted from BBSBL immediately after Erbes and Play discovered he was running 2 teams at the same time. Before that though, Dan was active on the forum, posted a lot and did a decent job with the Jays. I would probably put him in the Neutral group, if anything, but he could have been viewed as a trolled victim as well.
- JeffersJV23
Jeffers was the original Reds GM from 1996-1997. He was never a particularly great fit here and left once the trolling and post padding became too much for him to handle. The trolled victim category would sound about right for him.
- RangersGM
Before DB was in charge of the Rangers, our original RangersGM aka 916RiverCats was here for the 1996 season. He was well known as a troll in other leagues and he and Styro actually share quite a bit in common. As a result, RiverCats would have belonged in the troll category if he stuck around.
- Calumet78
I believe the original Dodgers GM was the same guy that is the Long Baller commish. Handling two leagues apparently was too much for him, but he never really posted anything here either. Thus, the "I Don't Care" group would have been where he would have belonged.
- Everyone else
TrevC3, CKriz, Joshsbix and Rays GM were all extremely brief GM's that did absolutely nothing.
There you have it! If you were ever unsure of the roles that some GM's here played on the forum, there are your answers. Again, this was compiled not from my personal opinions, but from a general third party opinion. I really don't want to see too many personal attacks after this. I'm sure a few will get at me like that, but I hope the rest of you enjoyed reading this!
Until next time...
The BBSBL Alliances
Hopefully, he likes what he sees here!
![:)](http://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
Now if he would only complete another interview or 2, that would be even better.
![;)](http://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
That will be mean less Habes on the forum.
![:(](http://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
