Dodgers are really expensive. Gonzales- $21M Crawford- $20M Kemp- $20M Beckett- $15.75M Ramirez- $15.5M Ethier- $13.5M (and increasing a lot) Lilly- $12M Billingsley- $11M
Add in $24M for Greinke and another $20M+(26???) for when Kershaw signs an extension. Yankees West.

Their new TV deal is worth $240M per year. That's absurd.

Yeah their TV deal itself covers their payroll. Plus then they have ticket sales, merch, etc.

Yeah their TV deal itself covers their payroll. Plus then they have ticket sales, merch, etc. And they own all the parking lots surrounding the stadium. So yeah they pretty much print money.

lol at angels. You knew this is what Greinke would command in an open market, you don't trade spects for him if you ain't even gonna compete in negotiations.

Would have preferred Reynolds. Cashman is a joke! I still prefer Youk over Reynolds (as long as he's healthy). Another guy that strikes out 200 times is the last thing the Yankees need.

Meh I'm a believer that strike outs are just outs. Who cares how a guy gets out? If he's going to hit .250 with 25 homers then he can strike out 250 times for all I care. Youk is broken down. Hasn't played more than 125 games since like 08. There's no way he doesn't get hurt before A-Rod is back. Cashman basically filled the stop gap at third with sand. It's only a matter of time before it erodes away.
