I was told to give guys a chance who in real life were stud prospects. Curtice and Riley were major major studs in real life. of course. but dont sit here and say theres 8-10 five star players(before you even knew about reyes and cabrera) and then only give us 5 Yes 5 out of 8 is terribleeeeee.

Nick Johnson was a massive prospect too. Only derailed by injuries. .400 career OBP is amazing. Should have made him better actually.

it should of been 10-12 five stars if you count cabrera and reyes

Big names. Figured they'd be solid. They're stats didn't line up. Half the guys have career OBP below .330. Pretty horrible.

Oh stop. You could look up their stats and know they aren't going to be 5 stars. This isn't BBS. I go off real stats.

Everybody complaining. Trust me I was that guy in GABL. Wanting every player to be a stud. Can't happen. Phillips and Crawford could probably use a bump, but then again unlike most leagues, you can spend money to improve your players so I'm not super inclined to just keep making studs. Want you guys to earn it. In that way, I guess this is like BBS.
Take Crawford. G/A/B/F/F/A. Improve his walks! He would instantly become a 4* spect. Now if I made him G/A/B/F/A/A, you could improve his homers and well then he becomes a 4.5*/5* guy and that's just not realistic. He's a high average, base stealer. Nothing else. He has a career .332 OBP. That's pretty bad for a .292 hitter. He's just not as good as people make him out to be.
