Brings back memories of Ventura's grand slam single in the rain followed by a pitcher hitting a 3 run? HR for his only ML HR Who was that?

followed by a pitcher hitting a 3 run? HR for his only ML HR Who was that? Rick Camp hit a homer on an 0-2 count in the bottom of the 18th (technically the 5th of July, fireworks followed the game at something like 3:30 am) to tie the game back up at 11. The starters were Gooden and Mahler.

If I get a job like that and stay home for another year after or so I could save up enough to steadily move out and never have to look back.

Probably before your time as a mets fan as it happened more than 30 yrs ago Right. I was born in 89. ESPN has it as their wackiest baseball game ever. Went 19 innings and finished at 3:55 AM. Fireworks were set off at 4 AM because they were afraid of people suing as the ticket said "Fireworks after the game"
