Ok maybe I went a lil far with that one post, but this was all built up for me since the beginning of this league from all the complaints I've gotten over rewards.

But you know what? I have proved that a team can still win there even after the changes.

It's just weird to take complaints on the game or system as a personal slight.
I don't recall a single person coming at Colorado personally. So it's just odd to see such a heated post targeted towards "bitch ass haters." Like come on now. You know your stats were out of control to start the league, the field was ridiculous. Erbes toned it down slightly, and you still have a ballin' ass lineup that runs rampant on every team. Your team is still like half or more than half the NL All Star team. What's the issue? Who are the "haters?"

Like I said, I took out some built up anger out on that post and went a bit too far.

Not many people have. I let a few things get to my head, but I'm more calmed down now.

Fuck! I'm sorry to everyone that read the one post that I made it. I wanna apologize for the behavior I displayed like 20 minute ago. I was out of line, and more importantly out of character with that 1 big rant I made. I love this league and I like everyone here a lot. And I'm grateful that this league exists because Long Baller is boring and the mid-late 90s are my favorites years of baseball.

I mean, improve your pitching a bit, and you're probably in a race with SF.

I mean, improve your pitching a bit, and you're probably in a race with SF. I improved my pitching a good amount though. Tewksbury was great, Guzman nearly had 20 wins, Hentgen and Gooden both won 15, my bullpen improved a lot as well. But this offseason, I'll just have to load up even more. I expect my payroll to be over $100 million by the start of 98.

Your Ps give up so many HRs Might be your stadium though :\

If you look at my starters' ground ball %, they're all pretty good. And my pitchers' walks weren't even bad, which surprised me. But Coors Field is a gift and a curse. It is what it is.

For the record, as a Mets fan, I have witnessed quite a few collapses in my life.
Of course the '07 and 08 collapses really stand out, but the Mets have played like shit in the second half in each of their last 4 seasons (09-12). Thus, collapses are second nature to me.
Furthermore, when I've seen the Mets make the playoffs, it hasn't always ended well. In both 1999 and 2006, the Mets lost the deciding game in the NLCS (vs the Braves and Cardinals respectively) on my birthday (October 19). Those were obviously my 2 worst birthdays ever. lol
Thus, the Mets and I are cursed! At least until I see otherwise.
