i was always opposed. anything that makes more work for me on here im going to be opposed to. the competetiveness rule has to rank somewhere around what, making international players on the effort required scale no? You did hire people at one point to check rosters, and changing fan interest/whatever is not all that time consuming in a once a year setup

i like what darell did with the starting date in lbb. should have started earlier so there were less teams. made people sit on the wait list for a season, prove they could be active, then bring them in. 30 dudes is a lot when you think about it.

league would be 1000000% more fun if you guys stopped acting like inflation is some disastrous thing to introduce to a sim league. make awesome classes so that rebuilds are more fun and guys stay active during them. make awesome classes so there are fun stats and prospects. it's good for business. i'd have the exact opposite approach to classes as you've had tbh

the biggest issue the league has right now inflation wise is too few walks because of too few rated Brilliant walks players, and too many Brilliant walks pitchers (more the latter, but you NEVER see Brilliant walks players in the draft)

I believe the board cash mark for making money is still 110 walks, and no one has touched that in years

just kill off all the players on the contracted teams, return any owned picks by those teams to their teams (yeah, its unfair, oh well on this one, doubt it affects many), and Inflation is no issue, but throwing two or four teams worth of players onto the remaining teams in a league which has inflation already is going to be a problem

if i had more time to devote to this i would have been much more exact/ scientific with the draft. i would have loosely followed real life, but i would have made sure that there was an even amount of brilliants on the hitting and pitching side each draft. so, okay two brilliant homer hitters? needs to be two brilliant SP. stuff like that.

Habes didnt try to win early on, so he never really understood how much different the requirements for winning are now compared to the first few seasons
