the only reason Louisville was ranked so high was because they beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl, had Bridgewater coming back and were widely expected to go undefeated

Remember when you called Mariota a slightly better passer than past QB's and just a system guy? well, now #7 in SI, and Kipers #1 QB for next year (as a sophomore(RS) wont get rated just yet, USA Today has him going #1, Peter King things its entirely possible Mariota goes number 1, but hasnt technically ranked him (just that he can envision Mariota to Blackmon if Blackmon keeps it together).

SEC West vs Pac-12 North: The popular debate over the last few weeks has been whether the Pac-12 North is better than the SEC West. The rankings say that the race is very close, but the Pac-12 North has a 1.3-point advantage over the SEC West. It is important to note that the rankings system averages the points based on the number of teams in the conference, so the fact that the SEC West has one additional team does not give it a boost.

the sec hasn't been as good as the past few years and its probably as close as it has been but lets not kid ourselves boys. 8 teams in the top 25 for the sec only 4 for the pac 12

Oregon-59 Tennessee 14
South Carolina 21 Tennessee 23
Vandy over Georgia, Missouri is dominating the SEC East in just its second year in the conference. But that SEC power

8 teams in the top 25 is because of cupcake schedules and early conference games, its not because the SEC is great

i like how u have to compare south carolina to oregon. they are they 4th/5th best team in the sec. oregon is by far the best team in the pac and yet you claim its all just a system, we choke every year etc. A&M went down now, so you have what, Bama, LSU, then Missouri* as the "elite" SEC teams, last year, that was A&M...sure was hard for those Big 12 powerhouses to adjust to the SEC. Auburns what, the fourth best team in the SEC now (likely finishes withg 2 losses, but if it wins out, wins the SEC West), and it could barely survive a bottomfeeder Pac 12 WSU team in a home game
