The fact you constantly don't actually read what I write shows you assume way too much

This shit is blowing up geeze...
I've learnt the hard way that if you don't offer up a solid solid offer when you want someone then you can miss out. It happens. Spence potentially thought you were just low balling him and weren't going to give a serious offer if he countered who knows.
Also ya it's probably not the best trade, would have expected Gio to grab a package near this and then harvey some additional nice pieces. But it was a vacant team who needed to make moves so it was a good chance to gain a chunk of assets.
Big thing is we now have a Washington GM and they get to decide this deal simple

i really do find it hilarious that we find a GM for washington 10 hours later after break is pissed off about this deal. i mean, we can't find any GMs...and now we find a GM who just so happens to ask that he wants washington after this?
bogus if you ask me.

i mean, yeah, it's really cool if that washington GM is legit new...but i reallllllllyyyy find it sketchy as fuck that the new guy wants washington (of all teams) after break blows up this trade for really no good reason. That kind of shit makes me question whether i should stay here or not. i can do much better things with my life than stay here if break is still in control.
This trade is fine. I've had trouble lately getting a deal done with spence for awhile now, and it's not like i got this done in 1 day. It took 3 days.

You can leave you have done zero for this league ever and accuse me of cheating falsely yet again.

I was questionable in the harvey part of the trade. I love the value from the giolito part. But in the end the sp is one pf away from being an ace and an early 2nd is gonna have upside with broph making the draft file. So i was pretty happy. Break saying i shouldve waited for some delusional non offered deal is ridiculous

You won't ever counter for some people and someone like that shouldn't be dealing for an open team

Gayle is an excellent piece. Harrison has really nice value, too. Plus my 1st. 3 excellent pieces for Giolito. That's fine.
Harvey is turning 34 once the season starts...his value is very little IMO. So to get a guy like Gomez + a high 2nd is good. You have to take a chance when you trade a 34 year old SP. You're not getting good value there.

I'm not blameless I'll admit that completely. The fun part is your refusal to admit you didn't do everything you could and didn't help the team get the best offer

It's not spence's job. When someone says "no"...if you really wanted that player, you would've offered more. you didn't which means you really never wanted them that badly so it's on you.

I obviously did when you said yourself the Harvey portion was that. I offered more and got a no with no counter by your own admission there
